Kauai Nursery & Landscaping (KNL) is a full-service nursery and licensed (#ABC-10825) landscape company offering ornamental and edible plants and trees; soil, compost, and mulch; pots and planters; statuary and fountains; garden accessories; crushed rock and other aggregate; and stepping stones, bricks, and pebbles.
KNL ships certified plants via FedEx 2-day Air and charges a $25 Flat Rate. A handling fee of $3 per plant is included in the price of the plant. FedEx Priority Overnight is an additional $10 charge (Available for West Coast Only) and Saturday Delivery is an additional $10 charge. Alaskan residents incur an additional $15 charge.

I reached out to KNL through their website, inquiring about a new landscape design for our home on the island. Within a day, Hiroko got back to me and we discussed the project. He went out to the house and emailed me back a comprehensive landscape plan that was perfect. He also sent me progress photos of the project. In the end, the new landscaping makes the house look AMAZING and Hiroko was so very helpful. I was so grateful to have someone knowledgable and communicative helping me, especially since I was on the mainland the whole time! I highly recommend KNL!!!

This place is amazing!! We visited Kauai in late March and wanted to find some cool plants, and they did not disappoint! We ended up getting 7 certified plants shipped to us on the mainland, and the packaging was incredible, everything made it all the way to Colorado happy and healthy, and they even threw in extra Stephanotis seeds for us!
I only wish there were more certified plants; I wanted to bring so many things home!!! But thank you guys so much!!

The prices are good and product selection is great. Could use a bit of bleach in the restrooms, though.
It's pretty unsafe to walk around on slippery, icky surfaces. A huge liability.
Go prepared with boots and if ur unsteady on your feet send someone in your place. They can FaceTime so u can choose your items.
Mostly friendly staff. Only one grouchy staffer. I haven't seen her around again so maybe they let her go.

Stopped in seeking advice on how to help my garden tropical plants thrive in San Diego and received some good information. I enjoyed strolling through and admiring the variety of plants they sell. I got some good ideas for tropical garden arrangements while I was there.
I didn't pay much attention to prices and I don't know enough about their services to elaborate beyond my few comments. However, it was time well spent stopping in.

Visited recently with a very specific request and got super customer service from Devin (sp?) who went out of her way to show us options, explain how certain plants will look after they grow up, and offered to hold the plants for us. Very satisfied with this experience, learned a lot and will be back to work on the yard, I'm sure! Mahalo!

We were on Kauai recently to visit family and plant our son's birth tree on our family's farm in Koloa. We went to Kauai Nursery because they have a good reputation and selection of trees and plants. The nursery person that helped us find the right tree was very knowledgeable about Native Hawaiian plants and passionate about protecting and promulgating them. This is the best nursery on Kauai for service, selection, and price.

Staff is rude Called to ask some questions about prices and sizes. I was told we have small med and large. I ask if i could get more specif size and was told that I had already been told small med and large. All of that after I waited 10 minutes on the line. Not sure if they did not know how to estimate a dimension or just didn't want to.

Not impressive; came over to see if they can help me identify some seeds I can take over to California and all I got was a direction into one area with only 10 plant seeds; also the employees were young and didn't seem they cared about our questions; it was more of a one word answer... "I am not sure" ... My advice come earlier and not towards closing... Maybe others are better.

We decided to check this place out today since we are plant lovers. Usually their plants are funky looking but for some unusual reason, their plants were at high standards today. We enjoyed the beautiful colors of the flowers and different types of plants and trees. I was disappointed with their Hibiscuses...as they looked pretty sad. They even had a veggie seedling section..blew me away.
The covered area was nice, which used to be very rare. Full healthy plants and decor.
There were quite a few employees there at the nursery area and I actually had three different employees ask me if I needed
