They finished my basement with walls, ceiling, and a half bath. They were able to complete per the planned design, with a few minor exceptions due to support beams being in the way and not realizing it during the initial walkthrough/planning stage. David was helpful working with our ideas and offering suggestions where we were unsure based on what other customers had done and sending us photo examples. The quality was excellent. It took more time than expected, but mostly due to coordinating with his sub-contractors and material availability. He kept to the quote aside from the need to increase

David and his crew at HIU were excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am thrilled with the completion of our basement finishing. The work is quality and no detail was left uncovered. Every team member was friendly and respectful when coming into our home. After interviewing and getting quotes from several companies, we decided to hire Home Improvements Unlimited to finish our basement. Although I had read the numerous positive reviews they had, I had never worked with the HIU team directly or knew of anyone who had. However, after our first meeting with David to discuss the project, we knew we had made the right choice in our contractor selection. David was so easy to work with. He listened to our vision for the project, provided many valuable suggestions, and together we developed a floorplan layout that we couldn't be happier with!

Dave, Jeff and their crews completely refinished our basement and we couldn't be more satisfied. They emphasized their final product and they certainly did not disappointment as our basement turned out fantastic and just what we envisioned. Their initial quote was reasonable and they stuck to it with only a couple of minor adjustments having to be made. The entire process took approximately 2 months and by the time they finished we were friends. These guys have our highest recommendation.

Our experience with Home Improvements was first rate and I would recommend them without reservation. Our project was different in too many ways to fit everything in this review. Briefly, we have a 100+ yr-old farmhouse that we have been remodeling ourselves for 19 years. Home improvements unlimited made my bathroom dreams come true. The bathroom is one of my favorite rooms in the house as I love taking a nightly bath so I knew I needed to make it feel more luxurious and spa like. They exceeded my expectations! David and his team finished our basement for us. We had a Egress window, extra bedroom, full bath, laundry room, movie room and playroom added. David was very easy to work with especially considering the amount of changes that we made on the fly and all the work was done very professionally and in a timely manner. The workers showed up on time and were very friendly and respectful. This basement far exceeds what I thought it could be and we absolutely love it. When we bought our home in 2015, we knew the updates needed would be a large undertaking. We needed 2 bathrooms remodeled as well as a wall removed to combine the living and kitchen. We had the work done over 2 stages with bathrooms being first. We were very pleased to work with Dave and his team. Jeff and Chris were so professional and are master carpenters. They did an excellent job on our crown molding and fireplace mantle rebuild. They spent so much time at our house that they were almost like family, offering to let our dog out when it looked like he really had to go :)
