A family business with a long-standing presence in Marin, the firm was founded by John S. Thayer, Architect in 1973 with offices in Mill Valley. Son Kyle A. Thayer, Architect has carried the tradition forward, with offices currently located in San Rafael. In the past forty years we have designed over eighty custom homes, two hundred developer-built residential projects, and nearly one hundred remodels.
