Services
After Structural Contours, Inc. has been awarded a contract or purchase order to furnish a particular system or custom piece of formwork or equipment, engineering drawings, details and calculations are prepared and submitted to the client for their review and approval. The engineering drawings will indicate the precise location of each piece of SCI's equipment, both in plan view and cross section.
The equipment and/or systems have been manufactured, produced and/or otherwise made available for shipment to the project site while the engineering work is underway. Final revisions to the equipment is made upon completion and approval of the engineering drawings. The shipment or delivery of the equipment is carefully scheduled with the project management personnel so as to arrive at the site in a timely manner.
The SCI Aluminum Gang Form System works very much like the widely used all wood system, as far as general make-up. 3/4 (19 mm) thick plywood is the form face material. Our lightweight extruded aluminum joists replace heavy timber joist; and rugged lightweight Aluminum Strongbacks replace heavy timber walers.
SCI's Radius Aluminum Gang Forms for circular concrete structures and other concrete walls that must be constructed on a radius provide the most cost-effective, labor saving method available. Radius Aluminum Gang Forms can be field assembled in 8'-0 +/- (2.50 M +/-) wide sections minimum up to a width of your option in repeat sections of similar widths by use of standard assembly hardware accessories.
