I could not be happier with Solid Garage Door. My garage door has needed new springs, then new cables, and recently it's been reversing and not closing, even though the eyes appeared to be aligned and the lights indicated they were. The first time Dan was here in 20 minutes at about 7:45 at night. When the cable broke he was out in a few hours. Today wasn't urgent, but he still came today. He fixed it in 30 seconds, and though he also took the time to drive to my house, he didn't charge me. I would have been perfectly happy to pay him, so figuring the best I can do is leave him a great review.

Arrived within an hour of my call and quickly replaced a broken cable to get the door operational again. Door was fixed in less time than it would have taken me to learn how to do it myself. Call Dan to repair your garage door quickly and correctly, especially if your time is limited. He was professional, polite, and competent and charged a very reasonable price for his services.

I had someone come out 6 months ago to repair my garage door and the price was great. I was satisfied then. But I wish I knew that the garage door had to be flushed with the floor or it will cause future problems. Just recently, my garage door was hanging on one side due to the wires. Caused from the door not being balanced. Someone who works in the garage door industry should have known this! I called, emailed, left a voice message to have someone come out again and was ignored for a whole week and gave up. I went with another vendor and they explained what happened and why it happened. The spring on our garage door broke during the coldest week of the winter. We chose a rival company (Neighborhood Garage Doors) first simply because of a flyer in the ValPak we receive. They wanted to charge us OVER twice as much for a new spring as Solid Garage Door and they pressured us so much to take the deal that we asked them to leave. … solid was recommended to us by a neighbor and we had the exact opposite experience. Our tech was friendly, he arrived before the scheduled appointment and we will definitely was Solid in the future for any repair or maintenance needs. Highly recommend
