Hawkins Construction has been in business since 1972, constructing quality buildings in the Central Kentucky area. Our personnel place great emphasis on workmanship, whether in our concrete work or our detailed finish carpentry. Richard C. Hawkins started his construction career in 1972 building spec houses in the summer while he attended college. In 1980 he purchased land and developed a 76-lot subdivision for mid-income buyers. Hawkins Construction provided all site development and improvements and well as construction of both speculative and custom homes.
Hawkins Construction provided construction services for the expansion of facilities at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington. Our work consisted of construction of several new buildings and renovation of nearly every other building on their campus. Currently, Hawkins Construction is building a new Rood & Riddle Veterinary Pharmacy.
