I received a letter in the mail stating that this company has a current termite warranty on my home until 7/31/2022, and that my warranty assures that I will receive a treatment at no cost should a termite issue arise. As a new home owner, I am supposed to call them and get the warranty transferred into my name. The problem is, I purchased the home I was renting for the last 7 years, and I am a licensed professional pest control and termite applicator. I know for a fact that no such termite warranty was ever contracted, and I have never had any business dealings with Termio. This is shameful, false

We had just moved into our house and received the same letter to "transfer the warranty" into our name. I assumed the previous owner had an existing warranty which was completely false. I contacted Termio based on the misleading letter as it looked like we had termite activity on our deck (there were very distinctive tunnels in the wood). The technician came out and inspected the area and told me it was normal wear and tear. He inspected the rest of the house and said we had no termite activity. Fast forward 6 months later and we have a full blown infestation that began with our deck
