In 1949, William R. Crowley opened his shop in Peoria and began a service-oriented plumbing business. Thomas J. Smith, a nephew to William R. and his wife Alma Crowley, began working for them shortly after high school. In 1972 after 3 years of managing the business for the Crowleys, Thomas J. Smith purchased and renamed the company to Tom Smith Plumbing Co.
We sell, install and repair most brand name products, and offer a variety of developmental services. We work with qualified remodeling contractors who know how to respect customers homes while working to complete their projects on time, efficiently, and with as little inconvenience as possible. In addition we are proud to be a member of the Q.R.A.

I had more or less what I thought was a problem that needed to be repaired My garbage disposal was broken wouldn't work anymore and it was backing into my dishwasher and was causing problems with my dishes So I called them up and they didn't said they couldn't be out because of the holiday weekend and the wouldn't be able to get there until Monday or Tuesday and I guess I made it sound urgent enough they actually came out that day brought their garbage disposal with them and took care of my problem had no problems with the service man who came out he performed a little extra work under my sink

I woke up to a pin hole leak in a copper pipe in my basement. Water everywhere! I called Tom Smith. Vergil was here with in 20 minutes. Pipe repaired within an hour. I am so pleased with Tom's service. I will call him again if need be.

Installed a custom modular shower in my mom's house. She is a senior and has special needs. The estimate was spot on, the timeline was spot on, and they communicated with me when they ran into unexpected problems. Great company to do business with!!! I can't speak for all these other comments but my experience was amazing. When we had the big freeze my bathrooms pipes froze and I called them. They got me in faster than I'd expected and they went strait to work under crawl space of my home. It's extremely cramped down there and the snow was high. But the gentleman went to work quickly. It was back up and running within half hour. He then gave me some helpful hints and advice for the upcoming year so I wouldn't have this incident happen again. I was terrified of being charged an amount I couldn't afford... The bill was extremely fair. I have
