Through the 1970's and 1980's, Brice-Morris successfully completed institutional, medical, office, and public building projects throughout the southeastern United States, including several high rise buildings in downtown Charlotte.
In 1998, Ralph Brice retired from the firm, and Todd Berg, AIA returned to the firm where he first worked to become a Principal and Owner, bringing years of experience in the design of educational facilities back to the firm.At that time, the name of the firm changed to Morris-Berg Architects to reflect the transition in ownership, and the focus of the firm shifted to educational facilities and other institutional projects.
The firm transitioned once again when Keith Morris passed away unexpectedly in 2013, and Todd Berg became managing Principal of the firm. In 2015, Morris-Berg Architects was named "Firm of the Year" by AIA Charlotte in recognition of our contributions to design, community service, and service to the profession.

Services
Morris-Berg Architects takes pride in the unique qualities of our history, firm culture and people that result in our personable services, long term client relationships and overall quality of our work. Being a smaller firm allows us to prioritize collaboration within our office and with our clients, consultants and community.
Our commitment to public architecture is the beginning of a culture of community service as we think beyond buildings to the communities they serve. We have always recognized the importance of corporate citizenship and consistently strive to improve the communities in which we live and work. The firm supports employees as they volunteer time at schools, churches, public agencies, and other community groups.
As Architects, we tend to measure our success by our projects, as they provide a lasting impression of our time and talents. At Morris-Berg Architects, we believe there is more to our legacy than the buildings we design, as we strive to provide opportunities for design professionals to develop as leaders and impact lives beyond the walls of our structures.
We use a collaborative approach to align the Owner's goals and objectives with pragmatic issues of the project. Involving the Owner and stakeholders in the decision making process encourages constructive dialog, which produces a well-planned and flexible project. Our dedication to providing "hands on" service begins with conceptual design and continues through construction completion.
