We do not hire day laborers or contractors we don't know just to get the job done. Our initial business purpose is to put money back in the pockets of our firefighters, police officers, ems, military and veterans.

It all started in 2011 when a young couple trying to find their purpose in this world set out to make a difference in the moving industry and in the lives of our First Responders: Fireman, Police Officers, EMS, and Military/Veterans. As a local fireman himself, John, along with his wife, Amy, quickly learned that men and women in these fields sought additional income opportunities on their days off.
What you do now before the truck arrives is just as important. That's why we've provided you with moving tips and some of our favorite moving and packing resources to help make your experience as painless as possible. Wait to pack your cleaning supplies (broom, dust cloth, mop, etc.) until you've done your last cleanup-especially if you have a security deposit.
I can't say enough good things about First Responders. We had a big move: 3 days of packing and 2 days of moving. They were so professional and went above and beyond to make sure our things were protected. We are staying in a temporary location for a few months and then will move to our permanent home.

DO NOT USE this company! Beware. They left a huge gauge on the hardwood floors of the house we were moving out of. That happened October 8th. We are STILL waiting to hear back. I have left numerous voicemails and they haven't returned any of my calls. Very disappointed. Especially since they promised to make it right and have done nothing to resolve this issue.

I hired First Responders Moving for Friday 10 Dec, arrival time was set for 0830-0930. At 0945 I called multiple times to inquire on my scheduled move after no one had shown up or had the curtesy to call. At 1015 I finally received a call from the driver stating their truck had stalled. At 1045 I received a call from the owner promising that if the job wasn’t completed that day it would be done Sunday 12 Dec. I explained that I had to be out of my home by Monday and that the buyer was moving in Tuesday 14 Dec. Needless to say the move was not complete by Friday evening. Saturday afternoon after

Jacob and Javon were very professional, prompt and hard working young men. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew. They handled all our items with extreme care and placed them where they needed to be. I had them move my daughter and my best friend and now we used First Responders. I had such an amazing experience with first responders moving! Very responsive, dependable and professional from Courtney who I spoke on the phone with to the two guys that came out to help.
