Hired them based on their overly friendly salesman making me some kind of "sick deal" for one room at about a grand. Splurged on the more fiberous thicker stuff too.
First off, salesman made himself pretty comfortable on my couch while talking to us on products. Not to mention played with my dog a while. Hey want a drink, buddy?
Secondly, I financed the deal and the credit card company tried to charge me prior to install, so I disputed the charge.

Not for me. Went local instead of big box and had trouble from start to finish and then post finish ("help" people not too helpful). Really wanted to support local, too. Can't find out when the install time is until the night before - if your carpet is actually available to install. Maybe next time, but probably not.

I really am very disappointed. The sales experience felt pressured. The installers did a horrible job. The seam was put right in the doorway on both my rooms and is super obvious. They did a messy install on my steps. You can see every staple line. They moved my couch and tore the attached arm rest off on one side. We called our salesman Joe and left 2 messages and he never bothered to call us back. I spoke with the customer service department 2 days after the install and told her my concerns. My wood laminate floors came out great. My salesperson, Chad, was super helpful by walking me through the different options and getting me what I felt was a fair price. The delivery of the floors was on time and smooth. And the installation done by Josh and Becky was top notch. They really paid attention to detail and made sure it came out right.

This review is based upon the design/sales consultation only.
We had our free consultation scheduled for a weekday at 5pm. I was told the associate would arrive between 5-6pm. I got a call at 4:20 that he would be there by 4:40. I said I'd definitely be home by 5, that arriivng early didn't really work for me (I wanted to be there for the consult as I'm primary decision maker) but, maybe my husband would be home early. The guy responded "yeah, I'm only 20 minutes early, so it's no big deal." And ended the conversation. It kind of was, because I had to rush home

Two years after getting carpet from the carpet guys and am now looking for basement flooring. This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth I feel the need to warn others. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM. I moved into a bungalow and found carpet that we liked for nearly $2000. The people who we bought the house from left some black material on the plywood and a condition of the contract (we asked it to be written in) was that it was to be removed before new carpet was placed.

Avoid this business at all costs. The company is only concerned with their bottom line and refuses to directly address problems. The customer service team offers short term solutions to long term problems. They were quick to pass the buck to the manufacturer when the solution would be an easy fix. Avoid the headache and use a company that respects customers, their time and money.

Had another great experience with the Carpet Guys! They finished installing carpet in our basement- professional, nice work, good people. Very happy with them!
Decided to edit my review after reading some of the others- someone else recently posted about the shady sales tactics. I have to say, we had quite the opposite experience. We received two quotes- one from Carpet Guys, one from different company. Carpet Guys was about $150 more for the carpet we chose from them compared to other company's, but we felt the quality of Carpet Guys was better too. Anyway, there were no sudden discounts

Not good. Miscommunication with the Sales and Installers. Tried to get a hold of the salesman, John and he never called me back regarding the issue. I guess Joe Zago and half his team were in the Bahamas. Everybody deserves a break, but no one could get back to me. Pathetic. Messy, sloppy, inconsiderate and no answers to my questions. Would never recommend. Shanna at the front office was very nice and tried to accommodate me to fix the problem. Finally was transferred over to her after a few calls to the Carpet Guys. We will see what happens.

I am currently basing this review on my salesman, Matthew. If things change when my flooring is installed, I'll let you know.
Matt was super friendly and it didn't feel weird having him in my house as it sometimes does with other sales reps. He knew his products, gave good input and professional opinions, and got us the best prices he could for good product.
He was on time and courteous as well. No pressure and relatable. I would recommend him to help out anyone when it comes to selecting good flooring at a good price!

We had a great experience with this company. We kinda make a fat decision to switch out the carpets in our bedrooms.
Called on a Friday, they came out the next day for an estimate and to show us the options. Super nice and knowledgable, didn't try to over-sell us.
Felt it was fair, and scheduled it for the following week. The installers were on time, professional and nice guys.
It's now about 2-3 months later, and we made a great choice on carpet and company. I forgot to post sooner, but drove past the billboard on 75 just now!
