Brian got someone to our house ASAP and helped us. A few weeks later the unit was busted up again, also super hot out. He came on a weekend and helped us. They wound up replacing our unit (we knew it needed to be done) and gave us a reasonable price. They worked quickly and cleanly, and really went above and beyond. We are a little outside of their service area, and we were desperate. They didn't hesitate to help and they didn't give us some crazy price for service (which we probably would

Our 7-year-old Fujitsu mini-split air conditioning system was giving us, what we thought, trouble. Able was fully transparent. They stated there was a minimum charge to show up and check the system. And that sometimes may be up to 2 hours for their technician when he is on hold with Fujitsu service. Thankfully the tech who showed up was very friendly he hooked up a computer system to the unit did a bunch of scans. He stated that the unit was functioning properly and that the problem, which is elevated humidity in one room, is probably due to poor insulation in the exterior wall. I'm just thankful

Worst service , you dealing with an used car salesmen on the phone, companies point is to charge up clients and not fix the problem. He basically called me a liar and didn't want to listen to me until I told how I feel about him. Learn how to listen to your clients and not be a donkey, not sure how you even exist. Able A/C installed a Fujitsu ductless a/c system in our home and did a great job. Brian was very friendly and helpful and his installers were very knowledgeable and friendly and did a very nice job. All appointments were on time and most important the system works perfectly, and at a very fair price.

Called because condenser not kicking over. Offered me an appointment the next day. They found a wiring issue from when I hooked up a nest thermostat over the winter. Also took care of an issue I had with water pooling in drip pan at minimal cost. Did a general service and didn't try to charge me for things I didn't need like refrigerant. Felt the price was very fair for the time the technician spent here and the problems he solved. Overall very happy with the service and would definitely recommend.

This was a total scam!! Stay away! Charged us $145.00 to come look at our AC, then tried to convince us that the whole system needed to be replaced. When they came back to give an estimate on a full system replacement, they claimed the neither a repair or system change could be done for some BS reason and refused to refund our money. The owner- Brian was a real dirt bag and very condescending. They are THIEVES!

I called this company for advice on a property I am looking to buy and the salesperson couldn't be bothered to allow me to get more than a sentence or two out, before interrupting me with an inappropriate answer.

Recently my wife came home to the house and it was 100 degrees. Called Able and Brian responded within the hour and had our Central Air unit fixed and running in no time. Very thorough inspection of the exiting unit to be able to solve the issue. We also use Able for our heating system which was installed by Universe and never worked correctly nor fixed correctly by "all" workers at universe. Had Brian over one time to take a look at the boiler and identified the issue and rectified it for us.

This review is long overdue as Brian and his team at Able Air installed our Central AC almost a year ago, and since then have helped us with everything from running gas lines, to questions about our pool, to almost anything we needed plumbing-wise. What a great experience!! They say on their website ableairheat.com that they are available 24/7 and I was a bit skeptical to call at 3am, however, with a 3 month old baby you can't go without heat in the winter. This happens to be April, but the past week the temperature has dropped into the 30's at night. 2 weeks ago we thought we where turning our heat off for the spring, but had to turn it back on only to find out it was not working. We needed our heat fixed immediately, if only for a few days. Able Air and Heat answered the phone and showed up three hours later. Unbelievable service

I first met Brian ( the owner)during Super Storm Sandy. He took great care of my home and got my system going. After Sandy he installed and converted my house from oil to gas. I have used him every since. Since then has installed new air conditioning units, ran gas lines to my driers and bbq as well ran plumbing lines to an outside sink. Great customer service with a very helpful and honest technician.
We called last night as one of our HVAC units stopped working. We initially spoke to someone that gave us wrong information. Within five-minutes of hanging up we received a call back from a Manager to explain the communication breakdown on their part. We decided to schedule the appointment for this morning between 8am and 11am.
The technician showed up by 9am with a smile on his face and a friendly demeanor. He immediately went to work, diagnosed the problem as a loose wire, fixed it and REFUSED payment of any kind. He would

Able Air Conditioning is tops. I used them for both my a/c and my conversion from oil to gas heat. Brian, the owner and all of his workers are great. Do not confuse them with Able plumbing in Baldwin. The Able Air conditioning I highly recommend is in Oceanside. You won't be sorry if you use them for both your a/c and heating. They also do general plumbing.
