Post Associates Architects was founded in 1956 by David E. Post, a man who believed in giving back to the community. Post Associates quickly gained acceptance in the community and commissions followed from Union Bank and Trust, Wesley Park Methodist Church, and Lee High School. These and other design projects formed the framework for the success that has followed the company into its 50th year and beyond.

Services
This addition to the 1908 church includes the use of a salvaged stone base and stained glass windows as well as the original design concepts to create a beautifully compatible and complementary connection between two existing structures. The addition connects the four levels of the existing activities building and church, as well as providing barrier-free access to all levels.
The City of Grand Rapids' Water / Environmental Services Facility is the first municipal owned facility in the State of Michigan to reach LEED certification. This facility harnesses nature and technology to provide a day-lit, energy efficient working environment. Employee acclaim has pushed the City to incorporate many of this facility's ideas into future projects.
The John Widdicomb Furniture Company is synonymous with West Michigan and the furniture industry. The Widdicomb building began in the 1860's in the Post-Civil War boom. The furniture industry sustained the two structures until Israels Designs for Living remodeled the building in 2008. The facility offers retail, service and office space for lease.
Post Associates has designed many custom single family homes in varying sizes and styles. We work directly with the client to ensure they get exactly what they're looking for in a home. Located in a wooded area in Southeast Grand Rapids on the shores of a man-made pond, Burton Ridge is a multi-story, mixed multi-family apartment complex that offers high-end finishes and amenities.
Breton Ridge, In the Woods is an Independent Living center set in a heavily wooded area in Kentwood, Michigan. Breton Ridge, In the Woods will contain 215 units in a variety of sizes and layouts. The complex also includes underground parking and all of the amenities a resident could want. Completed in 2006, Faith Hospice is one of the finest care facilities in West Michigan.
