Frank is a floor master! We needed the entire first floor of our house refinished. The previous owner had put down multiple coats of thick yellow polyurethane on the white oak. It was so bad we thought we would have to replace the boards. Frank removed just the right amount to expose the beautiful natural light wood.

Definitely will be a repeat customer Frank is amazingly thoughtful with his work. Treats your home as if he's working on his own. I'm a new homeowner so there were a few things that were foreign to me. Frank provided insight outside of the work he was doing. If I could give him 10 Stars I would 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

10/10 would recommend. Frank was extremely professional and has such a talent with his craft. As a one man show, he showed up right on time each morning and single handedly took our 30+ year old orange hardwood floors and made them beautiful again, with a more modern dark twist. Frank extended the hardwood into our living room and you truly can’t tell where the old ends and the new begins. The floors are so soft and smooth and flawless; the pictures just don’t do them justice.

Frank and his team were great to work with. He was extremely helpful throughout the process and even worked to create a custom color. Modern Hardwood floors did a Excellent job. After having my floors damaged from water by a well-known company and not standing behind their name, it was very stressful but Frank and his crew came in and was so professional, courteous and respectful they really made what was a bad situation more at ease for us. We are very pleased with the work. I would recommend Modern Hardwood Floors to anyone and everyone I know, they really are that good.

If you're in northern Virginia and need to have hardwood floors put in or refinished, this is the company you want! Frank is great! His work is great, his customer service is great, his attention to detail is great--he's all around great! I wanted to get my floors refinished on very short time with literally one week between closing and household goods delivery. Frank and Patrick got it done! They took care of my home, left it clean and tidy, and alerted me to any issues with the house--issues that weren't even related to refinishing the floors. Wow! I'm so glad I read all of these great reviews

We have used Modern Hardwood Floor Service for three jobs. When we lived in NOVA, Frank installed pre-finished hardwood along our main level, and it was beautiful. It changed the whole look of the house in such a positive way! Then we moved down to Richmond, and Frank was nice enough to come down twice. Once to install LVT in our basement, and the other to install hardwood in our kitchen/dining room. For each job Frank has been on time, courteous, and fair priced. Highly recommend!
