Mark does a fantastic job of communicating . The roofing and downspouts took a long time because of the stucco repairs that needed to be done. He would update me frequently and made many extra trips to the jobsite to make sure things were watertight during the recent storms while waiting for the stucco guys to finish their work. He definitely went over and above and did not charge me extra. We are really happy with their work.

JM Roofing is a company I will refer anyone I know to. Mr. Herrera quoted the best price of 5 companies I looked at & guided me to the best roof material I could use for keeping it cool in summer & warm in winter. As they tore down the old roof for inspection, they found items that needed repair & air venting that needed to be added & a safety hazard that needed repair. Inspection was great because the inspector works with Mr. Herrera & his crew from years past & knows the company well that they are accountable for their work. I can't shower enough praise on Mark Herrera and his team at JM Roofing. They are professional, talented, resourceful and creative.
They work extremely hard and fast, are enthusiastic & friendly and the quality of their work is exceptional.
I also liked the fact that Mark helped me with my choices, explained everything in detail and was very honest.
They repaired dry rot and a leak, laid shingles and metal roofing and did all sorts of tasteful finishing touches to chimneys and vents - no detail was left unturned. And of course the gutters and downspouts that match the metal roof just top it

My husband and I would definitely recommend JM Roofing. Approximately 12 years ago we hired Mark to replace our roof and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. It looked great then and looks great now. We've had no problems with the roof. Recently, we placed a call to Mark for gutters. Again, Mark and his crew did a beautiful job. What we appreciate most is how Mark is very conscientious. He doesn't just look at just the large part of the job but all the small details as well. We feel very lucky to have found him.

JM Roofing was amazing! Mark & his guys are very professional! Started out with Mark helping me with my colors, he made his suggestions, brought me samples and really guided me in the right direction for choice of an investment that will last way over 25 years! I ended up getting the GAF HD Cool Roofing System and it is amazing colors and all! I live in Cameron Park it has been 100 degrees this summer and I have not had to turn on A/C on half the time as in the past as there is a HUGE difference in temperature in my home. Mark installed beautiful I think he called them O'hagen low profile vents

Last year we had multiple shingles come off the roof during a big storm at the apartment complex I manage, we found JM Roofing in the phone book and gave them a call. They were able to get out here fast and resolve the issue, very pleasant and easy to work with!

The owner is very rude! Was several weeks late starting the roof after saying he was going to "fit us in between the bigger jobs". Gave a date for materials to be delivered. I called a few days after they were supposed to deliver the materials and was told "to stop bugging" him (I had called maybe 4 times in a 6 week time period trying to get the roof done before rain season) and that he "didn't have time to be pestered."

Completely satisfied with the work performed by this company. They showed up when they said they would be here and when they left at the end of the day the area around my home was clean.
Mark even did just the back half of the house first so I could finish installing my solar before the end of the year to qualify for the 30 percent tax credit. He repaired all areas of dry rot for a very reasonable price.
I thought it was going to be painful to have to write the check, but I was so happy with how my new roof looked, it was a pleasure to do business with them.

Just called this company to ask a question. I'm a Realtor and I normally get roof inspections for free from Roof Doctors or a local roofer. He quoted me a price and I said I normally get inspections for free, so my client wasn't expecting to pay, so I can't book one at this time (they quote a price for repairs and often get the repairs done after the inspection). At least I tried to say that. The person on the other end started YELLING at me asking why he would do work for free and asking if I do work for free. Outstanding work. Quick assessment, short timeline to install and stayed true to word where others left me in the lurch. The work was carried out neatly and cleanup left no trace of the madness that construction usually leaves. My house looks beautiful now and the energy saving GAF shingles & vents have made the house far more energy efficient. Couldn't be happier with the work.

Terrible company. Was supposed to do work on my roof. Paid them a deposit and signed a contract. They were late to start, so I called every few weeks to check on the status. Rather than keeping me informed on their schedule, the owner told me I was bugging him too much and that he is rescinding the contract. What a joke.
