I used Holcomb to assist with a medium-sized branch that had broken and was at risk of falling. The admin who answered my call said that a crew was already in my neighborhood so it was possibly to coordinate same-day service. The branch was cut at the fence line and fell to the ground with the whole process lasting 15 minutes. I received a bill for $600 for "Trees - back yard: remove broken limb". When I called to better understand the bill, I was told that the price was originally $725 but the admin lowered it before sending it to me. She claimed they had the crew working nearby pulled off that

I have lived in Dallas since 1979. I’ve hired several companies that trim trees. I can say without hesitation that Holcomb Tree Service is the best. Jason Whatley, an arborist with Holcomb, takes his time in explaining what needs to be done and why, then submits a written estimate. Jason’s expertise is invaluable. He recently dropped by to give me an estimate to trim some established trees. When I pointed to two 15-foot October Glory Maple trees planted last summer, Jason noticed a co-dominant stem at the top of on each tree and said it needed to be structure pruned to keep a dominant leader

I enlisted Holcomb Tree Service to cut down a small tree in my front yard after having to call several times just to get someone to come and give me an estimate, and actually sent a photo of the tree that was to be removed. Holcomb came and cut down the wrong tree. It took a few weeks for them to return to cut down the right tree. I then received a bill for cutting down the tree and the tree that was mistakenly cut down had not yet been replaced. This company is a joke. They are doing my neighbors yard yet trees are hitting my roof every two minutes. When i go outside to look there is a guy sitting on my roof smoking and chatting with the rest of his crew. I call the main office and chat with a gentleman about the issue and he says he will call the crew and tell them to back off. 10 mins later they are back at it. Including a guy straddling the fence and trying to pick up branches and digging up my lawn. So i call back and an older lady answers saying she has no idea what i was talking about.
