Services
There are many details that go into each phase of a construction project. Our goal at Jimmy Miller Construction is to make it enjoyable and as stress free as possible. We want each individual to feel comfortable with every aspect of the endeavor; therefore, we strive for an open communication with every client.
Accurate pricing requires detailed specifications and input from suppliers and trade contractors. Done properly, the process takes days to weeks. Buyers who do not understand the complexity of this process and the importance of clearly written, detailed specifications sometimes compare floor plans based on cost per square foot.
Contracts vary in form, length, content and print size. Expect standard elements such as the names of the parties, dates, and signatures to show up in every contract. Contracts often contain clauses that address company experiences and regional items. The contract for the purchase of a new home includes a collection of documents.
Your new home must be somewhere. The question is, where? Use a good map to identify areas you would consider based on distance to work and other family activities. Decide what is acceptable to your family. Take your time in making this decision. Many details about your new home can be remodeled in later years as your lifestyle evolves, but changing the location is not one of them.
From the moment you decide to build, natural question is "When can we move in?" Understandably you are anxious to see dirt moved and walls erected. That move-in date can't come too soon. However, in the initial stages of the project, the delivery date is a moving target because of factors beyond your builder's control.
