Went here to get a key fob for our car programmed. The one I bought online didn't work after he tried a couple times (the rear hatch wouldn't unlock, but the doors would). He had one in stock and it worked completely. He charged me a great price for his multiple attempts.
Even with paying for a new fob, plus the labor it was 1/3 the price of going to dealership.

Had a situation with theft and needed both cars to get new door lock and new programmed fobs. Mike is THE MAN is what I have to say. Very affordable compared to going to the dealership which would have cost us up to 3 times as much. Courteous, knowledgeable, straight forward, and just a great guy to deal with. If you want old school customer service like the good ole' days Mike is your guy.

I needed new keys to my safe before Sunday July 5th (my rent money was in there) Sentry Safe wanted an extra fifty dollars to expedite the keys and on a holiday weekend, expediting could mean mid week and I would be spending close to a 100 bucks.
What I needed was a nice person, a good old fashioned mom and pop style business with a genuine human. So I weeded through the google ads until I found Convoy Street Locksmith Shop. I called July 3rd; the shop was already closed, but the owner answered the phone; I explained my situation, and he agreed to open the shop on July 4th, no extra charge no

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
Mike was very helpful for my needs. He went above and beyond my expectations. He was able to get my lock to work on my pickup truck canopy. He also got it to where the tailgate would not open unless the canopy liftgate was open which was a major plus.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Here's the backstory first: I had my bag stolen a year and a half ago and I needed new car keys (Buick Verano 2012) and at the time the locksmith that came charged me $400 for two keys. One key stopped working and the other broke so no lock button and the unlock was getting spotty. I ordered two blank keys from Amazon with all the same buttons (lock, unlock, trunk, remote start, and panic). Now that my unlock button barely works we brought the keys (4 total: halfway broken key, not working spare, and two pack of blanks) to Home Depot since

Knowledgeable and skilled. I highly recommend them. I brought him an ignition for a scooter, cause the key was lost in a move. he was the only locksmith in town willing to tackle the job, after calling about 10 other locksmiths . He was able to help me out. Major key. the keys are on point! Give them your money. Thank me later.

The term "locksmith" is actually a derivation of the word "blacksmith." During the Middle Ages, blacksmiths were the artisans who created metal battle gear for the knights and their horses. However, it wasn't unusual for blacksmiths to also forge locks and keys.
A locksmith is a professional technician who specialized in lock and key repair, can cut a new car key and program it to the car computer, can gain access to unlock doors, safes, windows, cars, and commercial business, everything that operates on locks and key tumblers system.
Simple. Genuine. Quality expertise

Even if he had actually not been effective In setting the 2004 Hyundai Sonata automobile fob that I had actually bought from Amazon, I still would claim I had an excellent experience with Mike, the owner of this locksmith professional shop. Thanks Mike!Tip- if you currently have an initial automobile fob with you as well as you are simply configuring a Second vehicle fob, make sure that you let Mike understand ahead of time so that he can reprogram both at the exact same time for you.

I went to home Depot and had keys made. It took 20 min and when i got home the keys didn't work. I went back and they remade the keys. It took 20 min and they were still effed up. So I used Yelp to find this shop. He made me a copy of my house key. It took like 10 sec to make. I was really sceptical after the home Depot debacle. I went home and tried it, it worked perfectly. I have gone back to him for every key copy i have needed over the last 5 years. I was a little annoyed when I realized I hadn't reviewed him yet.

I drive out of my way passing several hardware stores and locksmiths to this place whenever I need a key made. Why? Because EVERY TIME I go somewhere else I get a key that sticks in the lock and/or I have to jiggle a certain way to get my door to unlock. I like to call these "murder keys" because I always envision myself in some horror or suspense movie where I'm frantically trying to get into my house away from some murderer but my $#@! key doesn't work so I die a horrible death where I leave my bloody handprints on the door and my keys hanging in the lock for my family to

Ripoff. What a joker. I called this guy to ask about making a key for my car. He isn't properly registered so he couldn't make my key for my 2015 Mazda 6. Thank goodness.
He sends me to his buddy who normally charges $85 for this fee, but he tries to charge me $145 for it. It was the weirdest convo hearing him tell his buddy, "Oh yeah... and hey... I charged him the "friend" rate at $145 OKAY... (wink wink)... "
Well I called the friend direct later in the day. He straight up told me, to paraphrase, "I charge $85. He's ripping you

I was planning to stop by Home Depot to get key copied. As luck would have it, I spotted this locksmith on the way to where I was going, and quickly navigated my way back to the plaza where it sits in. I walked in, showed the gentleman the key I needed copied, and walked out two minutes later. He even gave me a free thicker style keyring which was much appreciated. Good service, good price, and good quality. I tested the key and it works perfectly. Great shop!

This company might be okay for commercial businesses, rental property or if you just need keys made or a rekeyed lock but BEWARE they will con you if they think they can make a QUICK buck off you. They have the potential to be very dishonest as was in my experience.
I ended up having to go to Lowes to buy a new lock and the employee at Lowes rekeyed it there on the spot.
But I'm out $45 because of Convoy Locksmith's bad business practice.
