Broke Piano and run !
We used Ninja Movers on 12/19/2021 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm PST. There were 3 people who moved our furniture from east bay to south san jose. We had an upright Yamaha Piano that paid $150 extra to move it. After paying movers in total, I noticed the sustaining pedal is damaged and movers put a plastic wrap under the pedal to hold it !
During the last 30-60 minute of their service, I noticed they are in rush to leave and I had no idea why. When they left, I found the reason. They broke the sustaining pedal and scape without telling us any word ! We were so nice with movers

This was the first time we signed a job with Ninja Movers after looking at great 4 star reviews. We signed the job after talking to Jay who confirmed that the job will start between 8-10am, the next day i.e. just a day before the move, one of the team member called back and said that the job will now start at 11am because they have another priority job (so i was not priority). I called Jay again and asked him why would this happen to me and he said i should not worry because the other job was a very small job and they will start asap around 11am. This is our second time using Ninja Movers and they've exceeded my expectations both times. Coincidentally, Edgar moved me both times, and it was great to work with him again - he's very personable, professional and reassuring through the moving process.
The movers were efficient, reliable and thoughtful before and during the move. They help you lay out your boxes and reasonably unpack as well so you've got a head start unpacking at your destination.

Ours was not a standard move and we explained to them in advance. We wanted them to pack our stuff in boxes and take them to fedex for shipping. Right from the beginning, there were signs they were not suitable for this job, yet they wanted our business. I regret giving them a chance. They are very rigid in ways not suitable for this kind of a move. First, they did not have boxes larger than 24*18*18. This is our third time in a year and a half hiring ninja movers and we are always happy with our experience. They moved us just today into our new home and it went smooth and everything was done in a good amount of time. Was a stressful move and got charged 66% more than the quoted price. I was quoted $420 and was ultimately charged $700.
Mover was also unprofessional and yelled at me in front of the front desk who then called me to verify my safety.
Mover went through a clearly marked emergency exit which caused the building alarm to go off. HOA charged me $250 for this violation.
Never again. Don't do it.

After calling few movers we decided to go with Ninja Movers. I want to say from the befinning they are very professional to deal with and patient answering my questions. Everytime I call the company Jay is always the one picking up and very helpful.
On the day, Daniel callled me to let us know their ETA and they arrived on time. We showed thrm where is everything and gave them direction and they did everything on the dot! Alberto and Petr and Daniel worked hard and continuously working non stop and we got to saved an hour!

Stay away from Ninja Movers if you are planning a cross country move. I recently moved from San Francisco to Atlanta. My items arrived 27 business days after the earliest date of being able to receive items. On top of being late(delivery window is 21 business days) my TV arrived broken and my rug and some of my wallets are missing.

Great service! They wrapped up every piece carefully and thoroughly. They finished up packing and loading the PODS in the expected amount of time. Took off one star because we booked 5 guys ($400/hr) for three days and on day two only 4 showed up. Only dropped the price per hr price by $40. Would use their service again for sure!

Quick update to clarify matters and respond to the business owner: the movers were the only people in our apartment for the duration of the move (our cleaning lady arrived 3 hours after they left) and the money went missing from my wife's wallet prior to our cleaner arriving, whereas I paid the movers from the cash in my wallet at our new address.

BEWARE: this company has you sign a simple straight forward quote before they arrive and then on moving day they show up with a lengthy and complicated contract that you have basically no choice but to sign. We hired a 3 man crew to move out 2 bed/1 bath from the marina to Potrero hill. David, the crew leader, tried to pressure me to sign for a $1,500 limit and work over 8 hours at 1.5x. We had even moved all our small boxes (over 50 boxes) the day before so it was really just furniture and clothes. I refused to sign for more than 8 hours and $1,000. We had a horrible experience with these guys in January of 2019. They gave us the cheapest bid over the phone to move our home but jacked the price on moving day. It was basically one Caucasian team leader who directed 3-4 non-English speaking Guatemalan young men. We honestly could have rented a truck and got the same level of service from day-laborers at Home Depot. They charged us an exorbitant amount for what they delivered. Not only did they misquote us from the start they also delayed sending out our stuff across country and used unprofessional middle people who were quite rude to me upon arrival and delivery of our things. Many things were missing when they arrived and they even tried to deliver things to us that were not ours. If I had not been there checking things during the delivery, the delivery company would have just left other people's things with us. Please consider the date they are not ninja movers , they are tortoise movers. Please don't get caught below scenario.
Unless u know your destination address they it will not be started from beginning place.
Please opt for insurance because for the basic insurance you will get .6 per pound. My desk and lamp is broken worth 200dollars and I got 7.8 dollars ___ definitely something will break in the big truck
Main thing is ask for steps in the delivery area I paid extra 150 dollar for 18 stairs.

I feel compelled to warn others against using this company for moving services.. TL/DR: They cut open the integral cushion of our couch, and after months of the owner (Barak) of Ninja Movers promising to pay for the damage, we have yet to receive a cent. This is despite repeated promises to fix the couch or to pay for the damage.
