Great Wall Moving did a really great job on our Christmas Eve move from Hayward to Lathrop and accommodated a stop in Tracy along the way. I appreciated that they lay a red fabric so your floors don't get scuffed and wrapped all of our TVs, dressers, and tables in blankets and plastic to mitigate potential damage during transport. It ended up being about a 7 hour move and it was very laborious work especially since we asked them to move multiple large, heavy items up the stairs to the second floor. Very deserving of a good tip and definitely worth every penny! They were also the most budget

The 2 x Gentleman (movers) came 10 minutes before the start time. They scoped the move and start moving right away. All the valuable items were wrapped in blanket and plastic.
My 2 bedroom apartment was moved safely with no issue.
Some moving companies charge double the moving time. Honestly, it doesn't make sense. Great Wall moving had very transparent pricing. They charged me a truck rental fee of $35 but not double the moving time.
They also suggest before hand the suggested tipping price of $10 per person per hour. I so much like transparent pricing and no surprises later. I would

Zhao and his team were excellent, polite, and friendly, wearing masks. They called to confirm ahead of time and arrived slightly early. They have done quality and safe work. We had a few pieces of furniture to pick up from Menlo Park to Sunnyvale. They wrapped our furniture very well in blankets to make sure it would be safe. They handled our fragile (glasses) items with great care. They unloaded in an organized way and worked quickly. They put everything where we wanted. The entire service was smooth and professional. We would highly recommend Great Wall moving based on this experience.

Crazy Expensive move for a 3bd from sunnyvale to 20 min away, over $1.2k with tip. Requested extra tip for treadmill which took them a very long time to move and also with our help. Didn't completely reassemble it when they moved into our new place. They knicked up our doorframe pretty bad because they didn't want to unscrew our desks. Instead, they jammed it through and damaged the wood all around the door frame. Overpriced and a bit reckless, should've told us there would be extra charge for treadmill - they said our original tip offer was not high enough.

The team came on time and they were friendly and experienced, I'm very pleased with their work. Will definitely use their service again in the future.

Based on the price and their availability, I decided to go with Great Wall Moving to help with my cross-country move. I rented 3 Pods storage containers, which were right outside my front door. I already had my boxes packed and just needed the movers to help move those and the furniture into the storage containers.
The movers arrived about 30 min early, which was a bit of a surprise. So I had to end my workday early so they could get started loading the items. I gave them instructions on what needed to go into the Pods, and how they need to be loaded (weight evenly distributed through the containers

Efficient service and on time. We had to move from an apartment to a house on the foothill. The request was handled and delivered professionally. Cost effective plus quick availability made us choose them. They setup and unboxed everything in a timely manner.

The moving service is awesome! From first quote to finish moving, everything is so smooth. I just had Great Wall moving my stuffs from San Ramon to San Francisco on 9/24/18 for one bedroom. The price is the same as I asked Lily and very reasonable. The communication and confirmation is so clear and easy. They are very on time at the day. Mr. Bian and the other gentleman (I think is Mr. Wan) is so fast and carefully wrapped our furniture with their plastic wraps and cotton big wraps.
