In my opinion, there’s some things in life that you don’t skimp on and a good, reliable, responsible moving company is one of them. We have always moved ourselves but me being pregnant this time and my husband being out of town for work, we needed the help. I got quoted a price for the amount of hours I needed and that is exactly how much I paid. There are no hidden fees, they don’t milk the time clock, but they don’t rush through your stuff either. They we’re extremely careful with my belongings, loaded up what I needed, unloaded it in my house and we were done! I couldn’t be happier

The guys that came to help move my stuff were so kind and gentle with my stuff. They were very respectful and mindful and after telling them I was on a tight budget made sure to move a little faster because of the cost. I highly recommend using Half Price Movers. They are amazing and went above and beyond.

Cheapest movers I could find and their employees were great HOWEVER I was told twice over the phone 350 flat out rate no other charges. Movers show up and sure enough there's an $80 mileage charge. I don't know what incompetent person I spoke to over the phone but I was misled. FYI they charged 135 an hour 2 hour minimum $80 mileage fee. I also don't like the fact that there female dog boss still charged me for 3 hours even though it was pouring rain and they had to stop moving things for a bit.

So I go in today to buy a box and some peanuts and the moment I walk in I told him what I needed, then the phone rings and he doesn’t say anything to me like “I’ll be right with you!” Instead not only did he take one phone call but he took two phone calls while I sat there and waited. Yeah I get you need to answer your phones but there’s also a thing called customer service and there’s also the option to say to the second caller “hey could you please hold for a moment I’m with a customer?” But no! He didn’t!! They obviously need to learn some professional mannerisms!! Thanks

Used Half Price Movers to get some couches from Corpus to San Antonio. The office manager I scheduled with had good service, the movers were friendly and efficient. They do use other payment methods where they have carbon copy slips and authorizations on cards, so if you want a speedier payment method I would suggest having cash on hand, but that is my preference.

We had a horrible experience because of one of the movers negligence. They placed our king bed salts against the bathroom door and our daughter had gotten away from us for a second and ran to open the door to let our dog out. The slats fell on him and he passed away. We only found him later because one of the movers noticed and told me our dog was in bad shape. When I walked over to see what happened I saw him laying there I picked him up and he was obviously gone. I understand it was an accident but one that should have never happened because someone placed the slats against a door that opens

This review is mostly directed at the dude that works at this place. I think his name is Justin. I called home for a quote on packing and shipping a critical package that had to be out that day. After putting me on hold for an inordinate amount of time (which he has done to me in person while dropping off packages), he gave me a quote for 2-day service and said I needed to have the package there by 4 pm to have it packed and shipped on time. I showed up a few minutes after the cutoff time and he said the UPS guy had came and went. There was no way they could have done my shipment in time anyway

We used Half Prive Movers to move my mother from Corpus Christi to Seguin. They provided an estimate and the price they charged was fair, it was a move that involved stairs. They kept in contact with us concerning the move, times, dates, and were prompt. The staff from the office to the movers very attentive and professional. They took excellent care of my mother's possessions and furniture. They inventoried everything and they used padding and shrink wrap where needed. Nothing was damaged. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing a mover.

They told me there was plenty of room in the truck so they packed it lightly. And then when we got to the end they didn't have enough room. So they climbed on top of my glass top washer that was brand new and broke the top. They then threw my bike on top of my brand new dining room table and scratched the legs up bad. I asked them to wrap all my furniture and they told me they didn't need to wrap my outdoor table because it was iron, and sure enough it was scratched horribly. Money in the drain. That's for ruining my stuff. If I could do it
