We love our new kitchen! It wasn’t an easy project as we live in an older cottage and with every wall that was opened up a new “surprise” was discovered. Coastal kept us informed all along the way, kept us within budget, gave us the open floor plan we were looking for and the beautiful kitchen that is the heart of our home. Highly recommend.

Jerry has been wonderful every time we have needed a contractor.
From closing in our patio and creating a new office, to our latest project which was a very difficult job, (removing ledge, as well as building an addition) everyone involved was professional, and masters at their craft. Last night I got home from a 5 day visit to see my condo renovations for the very first time since hiring Coastal General Construction. I could not have been happier with my experience with them. I live on the top 2 floors, in a building which was built in the 1800s. Needless to say, taking on renovations in an old building are difficult to say the least. I have had experience-5 years ago, I tackled the upstairs. I paid the quote in full for my roof to be replaced before the work was started. Being a new home owner I didn't realize that this was far from typical and Jerry, the owner, asked me if I was sure I wanted to pay in full before work was even started. The workers showed up on time and completed the roof within a couple days. The owner then called me and told me he owed me money back because the job came in under budget. Can’t get more ethical and professional than that.

I first used Coastal for my condo remodel in 2008 after my realtor recommended the owner Jerry DeHart to me. At the time I lived 700 miles away and was a little nervous about having such a big project done ‘in absentia’. After meeting with Jerry and selecting finishes etc. I did not see the work until completion. It was perfect!
