Mike was gracious to assist us with a last minuet reservation. The rental car prices were ridiculous at the time of our trip ($120+ for a full size car a day, it was a busy weekend and most cars were sold out) anyway, we decided to go with another alternative so we called Mike. We ended up getting a van for HALF the price of the full size we was quoted at the rental cars. Now I don't mind a van, we LOVE the extra space. The condition of the van was not brand new, however it was decent, worked fine, ac was running, no issues. There were some scrapes on the outside body however it was very miner

I understand that not all people have the same opinion of different rental agencies but the negative ones here blew us away. We picked up our car in the parking lot of St Michael's church after choosing the most reasonable agency in Kauai, and we were so surprised what a nice little Honda we were getting. It looked and ran like a new car and Mike was a man of his word all around. Car rental is expensive on the island so we were leary of renting one at his price, but we could not have asked for a nicer car or better service. Wish I could give a zero, but its not an option. This business is a total scam. If you think you will be getting a car similar to the pictured cars on the website, you are in for a complete shock! If you want to rent a dirty/filthy car at a cheaper price then this place is for you. Buyer beware!! You are better off spending the extra dollars at a reputable company to get a quality car and service.

Do NOT rent from these rip-off artists. The vehicles are not safe and they offer no refunds. I rented a vehicle this week that was a death-trap and took it back the next morning and all I got was the runaround. I was told it was the best car they have. Stay far far away from these people! Mike's under the radar car rental is a great deal compared to the other possibilities. The air conditioning did not work but that was not an issue, as it wasn't that hot while we were there. You have to call him when you get to the pickup place and he shows up promptly and takes you into his office nearby. At the end of the trip he will drop you off at the airport.

This place is the best!!! Micheal is awesome!!! Pure Aloha. Much better rates than the big guys. Our mini van was clean and ready to go. Check in and out were super easy at Michaels private office near the airport. He even gave us a ride to the airport after we returned the van. I can't say enough good things about this place. Michael is such a hospitable man. He is ALOHA! We had a special needs guest and Michael gave us a great weekly rate for a mini-van. He's close to the airport, right in the middle of Lihue. and always available. His office is located at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, so I knew I could trust him. I'll call Hawaii Reasonable Rentals every time now.

Going with this company... me and my husband got mistaken for locals twice. We didn't mind. This is a low budget, no hassle, get in, get out type of service. We were rented a older SUV. Perfect for all the driving and outdoor sports we did on the island. Just make sure to check that the air conditioning works. Also that there's no leaks in the Windows. We went to go wash the car before giving it back and my husband got a little wax on him from the leak in the window going through the car wash. Awesome customer service. He was professional with a contract written up and specified meeting time, place and cost. I would not recommend going here. Our experience was awful. First, there is no actual business. The pin on the map is fake and was placed next to other car rental agencies to make this company look legitimate. We walked all around looking for the agency without success. When we called the agency to ask where they were, they said there was a shuttle service. We were picked up by the owner in a run-down mini van with absolutely no logos on the outside. He tells us he is going to drive us to his "office." We were driven a few miles outside the airport to an unknown neighborhood and the man
