He kept us informed of the progress since the house he was painting belongs to a relative. When we purchased our home, there were several rooms with old wallpaper from the 1980's. After first hiring a painter recommended by a friend, we realized that removing wall paper is an art in itself. The challenge is getting rid of the glue left behind without damaging the walls --which is tricky. Picone's crew was amazing - some of the best prep and painting we have ever seen. Now looking back after hiring three different painters for our move in renovation work, we would say Picone's team were the most experienced and had the finest work. Not the least expensive but definitely top quality work

I have been using Andy Picone for over 30 years and now use only them for my interior and exterior painting projects. If you want work carefully and expertly done, this is the one to choose. When they paint a room, every imperfection will be re-spackled under intense lighting and painted with perfect results. They put up wall covering which has lasted 30 years with no imperfections or peeling.They are also extremely neat as the work progresses and clean up thoroughly when finished. I've used them several times for exterior power washing and staining of a cedar Shake roof and cedar siding. Here

Andy has been our painter in Summit, NJ for 20 years. He and his crew are simply the best: super careful, exceptional craftsmen and lovely, trustworthy people. Their work is meticulous. We used Picone Painting for the first time and were very happy with the job they did. The painter we had used in the past moved out of the area and so we had to find someone who's work we felt would be on par with what we experienced in the past. I have been using Andy Piccone and his crew exclusively for all our painting and paper hanging for the past 15 years, including a whole house interior and exterior paint job following a renovation ten years ago. I recently used them again to do the exterior painting of our home. They are professional, polite, extremely neat and happy to make any changes or touch ups that I request. I have used them with complicated painting, staining and wallpaper projects and completely trust them to be in the house when I am not there. I had a great experience with Picone Painting. The work was flawless. The workers were professional, polite, and friendly. They went the extra mile to do touchups and to make things look perfect. They were on time and on budget. They were all business, in and out, leaving no mess. They even cleaned my gutters. The owner, Andrew Picone was always communicative, was hands on manager, and was always available for questions and concerns. I rate them A plus, 5 stars.
