Sparks Construction was founded in 1979 by Charles Sparks. The company's core goals are developing strong customer relations and creating beautiful spaces. Charles passed away in the fall of 2005. His custom home business, Goldstar Development/Designs, has been featured in several publications, including Tulsa Homes Magazine.

My husband & I hired Sparks to build our dream home. They used all of their own contractors with the exception of Lewis Roofing, who we insisted on and they did a fabulous job. Some of their contractors were fantastic such as the framing, masonry, carpenters for built ins, and HVAC. However, when it was time for appliances and other items to be installed we got $25,000 worth of items stolen. The company delivered them to the house on Friday and Monday morning they were nowhere to be found when the installers arrived. I hate to be writing this review but I do not recommend using this company. What should have taken a couple of weeks, ended up being a nearly 5-month process. From the very beginning, I experienced communication problems with them and would keep calling to follow up regarding the next steps in getting the work done. I admit I became very frustrated with the communication and contributed to the lack of communication a couple of times. Overall, Sparks did a very poor job with follow up, providing correct information and acknowledging and addressing problems.

Renovation with Sparks has been a joy. Two and a half bathrooms, kitchen and water damage recovery in the living room were all collaborative, creative and on time. No trauma, no drama!
Weakness in contracting documentation and project cost control/reporting are effectively countered with scrupulous honesty. Heartily recommend this company and have done so with friends and neighbors who also had positive experiences.

Sparks was recommended to my wife and me after a total loss house fire in April, 2014. At first, things were great. I was confident that they understood what a traumatic experience this was, and being a young couple who had just finished remodeling their first home and was weeks away from welcoming our first child, that was the comprehensive relationship we needed from a builder. I have used Sparks Construction for several projects over the past few years. I have always found them to be very professional. They surveyed the work to be done and provided a competitively priced estimate of cost for the work. The work was completed on time and billed as quoted. No surprises!! I would recommend Sparks Construction to anyone needing a contractor for fire or water damage. Or, for any home remodeling they are considering.
