Each of our designers knows how to precisely design the layout of your kitchen cabinets according to the dimensions you provided. Draw a rough draft of your kitchen or bathroom for your designer to understand where the walls are. Photos would help, too. If you are not sure about how to accurately measure your place, you can either ask your contractor to measure or you can schedule a measurement service provided by affiliated contractors.

Friendly staff and good quality products. We had great experience working with Crystal. She is very knowledgeable. This location is less crowded than the KZ kitchen in Montague Exp Sanjose one. So I would recommend go visit the warehouse and come back to north 1st location for final purchase with your selection.

Fantastic place for all quality levels and from my extensive amount of time spent shopping different competing stores I must express how impressed I was with their ability to hold prices so low.
Overall my best go to place for Flooring, Cabinets and counter tops.
Great Staff, always friendly and put out good effort to assist with design layouts and product solutions.

The customer service at KZ by Ronnie was the worst I ever experienced. I was interested in granite & cabinets. After looking around I had questions but Ronnie was rude & dismissive. Now I know why the showroom was empty. As I was asking her questions, she picked up the phone & shooed me away before we were finished talking. I visited a few more competitors with professional customer service, I wouldn't waste my time at KZ.

We looked at the quality of cabinets in the price range we wanted and nobody beat KZ for the combination of quality, pricing and service. We bought our granite counter tops from them too and were able to pick out the slab in the warehouse, so we got just what we wanted at a fraction of the price at Home depot for similar stone.
The install team was efficient and competent, The whole install including cabinets and granite was done in one day.
We had some small issues after install, but they fixed them without complaint and quickly.
Ask for Ronnie Lo in the San Jose store on 1st st. She is patient

I did two home remodeling in Dec 2016 and Jan 2017. I purchased all my kitchen cabinets and vanity from Ronnie at KZ Kitchen on the First Street in San Jose. I have to say that I had a great experience with Ronnie. With the measurements I got and the cabinets I've chosen, Ronnie was able to draw up the design right there in the store and emailed me the drawing and the quote for me to go home with. Ronnie was very intelligent, polite and helpful in every way. The cabinets are in good quality and the warehouse staff were helpful too. I would certainly go back for future remodeling.

Bad decisions!!
We bought cabinets and granite countertops for our brand new kitchen, total worth over $10K.
First of all, they messed up the under-the-sink cabinet. I have an apron sink, but they delivered a cabinet for drop-in sinks, and we had to go to the warehouse and exchange for ourselves.
Secondly, and more frustrating is the granite countertop, I bought Kashmir WHITE stones, which is very appealing in their Brokaw showroom, creamy white color with minimal marbling. But what we received is BEIGE-RED colored

I visited the warehouse on Montague expressway to decide on the piece to buy, but I found placing an order always a hassle given the crowd, so I just call Ronnie in this store and place the order. Ronnie is very professional and nice to work with. She's very responsive with emails. I made two orders and both were quoted and ordered with satisfaction.
As to the quality of the piece, obviously this is not a high end shop, but I do find the quality quite decent so far.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ronnie at KZ. Ronnie was great! She was able to take the measurements my contractor provided me and design our kitchen cabinet layout quickly and easily using her program and provide me with 3D layouts of how the kitchen would look. She was also very accommodating as we changed our minds multiple times in regards to layout.
Previously, I had tried to design this on my own using Ikea's program. Big mistake as it was very time consuming.

First thing I did was create a counter dimensions plan before I went shopping for counter tops. I went to at least 5 other stores including the "famous" ones near Brokaw and Fry's Electronics and even Home Depot. I got some good quotes and way over the top quotes but it seems that most did NOT have the material in stock. I was getting bummed out.
I walked into KZ Kitchen, found Ronnie, very attentive, checked out their "Quartz" selection and was ready to purchase immediately and they even had everything in stock. Everything was ordered in about 20 minutes and

Omg! The first time I came here, I had to wait 40 minutes for my appointment. When Ronnie was free, she was rushing me the entire time. I asked her what options I had for storage, and she got upset. I wanted to design my kitchen to my liking, not hers.

I see all the negative reviews and I have to say I had a positive experience. I lived/worked in Asia for 5 years so know how Asians do business and it was perfectly acceptable in that culture. They have rules, when you don't follow the rules it gets difficult. Some rules are stupid yes but they are trained to follow rules. Efficient.
I bought granite, quartz countertops, metal kitchen sink and kitchen faucet. I gave my contractor the pickup paperwork and he promptly lost one so i had to get involved, drive down, reprint / fax new copy to warehouse. It was a pain but thats how it works

Despite all the previous low ratings and comments, I actually had a really good experience at the First Street showroom. They have a fair return policy.
If you decide to visit the First Street showroom, look for Ronnie Lo. She is very helpful in answering all my inquiries, processing my refund/exchange, and on top of that she is very friendly but professional at the same time.
