We sought out Granite Planet from a recommendation and now know why they were highly recommended. A great experience. Kelly was very friendly and informative, gave us options and let us think. The owner, Mike, did the measuring and he demonstrated they cared about doing a great job for us. The installation crew (Adrian and Derek) were great. Very efficient and professional and did not leave a mess to clean up.
We only compared the price with Lowes and Home Depot and found them in the same area.

We chose Granite Planet to remove our 21yr old Formica kitchen countertops and replace them with Granite ones. This included replacing the kitchen sink, faucet, and electric glass stovetop with new ones that we selected and purchased. We found their prices competitive, and they were very accommodating and helpful along the way. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up the messes that were made in the process. Extraordinarily pleased with my beautiful new bathroom! Staff educated me on all my stone choices without me feeling pressured or rushed. It was a big decision for me to upgrade from my old Corian vanity to this magnificent new Quartzite and I'm glad I did. I can't say enough great things about this place. It's family owned and operated, and is now run by Kelly and Jeremy (I guess their parents are mostly retired). I wanted soapstone for my kitchen countertops, and it's pretty hard to find. Kelly suggested that I visit a huge showroom in Phoenix, which I did, and there I selected my soapstone slab. Jeremy and Steven came to my house soon after, to build a template for the counters, and they cut everything and installed it beautifully (with Jonathan). I'm thrilled with how well it turned out. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. We recently had an expensive quartz counter top installed. It was measured incorrectly, and now the flat top stove is sticking about an inch above the countertop. It is a huge eyesore on a close to $10 grand job and noticeable immediately. Everyone chuckles when they enter the kitchen and asks 'What happened there?' IT IS LIKE AN AMATEUR YOUTUBER INSTALLED OUR EXPENSIVE KITCHEN COUNTERTOP. We listened to the raves about Granite Planet on KNST radio. When we bought our home we went to Granite Planet and talked to Jeremy. He showed us material on the computer and my wife said she wanted to see some examples in person.
He directed us to Granite world and then when my wife found the type of countertop she wanted, we called Jeremy and scheduled for him to come and measure for an estimate.
When he came to the house, he measured the current counter and suggested removing the pony bar (breakfast counter). He explained it would cost extra, but it would open up the room.

Service in the yard wasn't that good. Them getting back to me was pretty bad. The contract was misleading. I chose granite at another yard for $200 less but cancelled after I saw them cutting other granite with a grinder & pouring water on it from a water bottle. I ended up at granite planet.... a lot of waiting around. I was told they make a template so it would fit like a glove. I made a 75% down payment & got a contract that had stipulated that it included in the price a template. Well the older guy never made a template just took measurements with a standard tape measure. 1. The seam is located at the sink. This is unheard of. They did not tell us this was where it would be placed. 2. They installed the dishwasher and this is how it looks. 3. The stove top is crooked. They have a response for each one of these issues and quite frankly, based on the pictures, I don't understand how this can be acceptable. Prior to their work, the stove top was perfectly centered and the dishwasher lined up. We are having it redone by another company.

My husband & I went to this store on a hunch and luckily we met Jeremy. We wanted a piece of granite to fit over an existing table. We were working with exact measurements; making the task of finding the "PERFECT" size granite piece a bit more challenging! We also would need to love this perfect piece of granite! Jeremy spent over an hour walking his yard with us to find what we were looking for. Jeremy was extremely patient, delightful & very helpful!

In 2004 Granite Planet installed a significant amount of granite in a home we were remodeling: Large kitchen, 4 bathrooms (including a large Master bath), and laundry room. A week or so ago, now 2014, we discovered one of our under-counter sinks was coming loose. When I called them to help fix the problem they were incredibly polite and professional. I was happy to pay them for the work, but get this: They came out and re-installed an under-counter sink 100% FREE. That's right - 10 YEARS after installation!
