I randomly stop here when I'm in the area (Blanco location), I always find great deals. I've gotten a skirt for as low as $1.50. They do also have some higher priced full price items items but they also have a variety of luxury items. Everything is nicely organized. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

It's been a while, but it's time. I consigned over $3500 worth of clothing here, including a never worn Joie lambskin leather jacket that retailed for $795 and lots of unworn high quality items with tags attached. I got a $54 check in the mail, zero follow up, and was told the only other check I was supposed to have received (another $50 check) couldn't be re-issued even though it somehow got "lost in the mail" unless I paid a $50 lost check fee. Seriously? The issue was not that the check was lost. The issue was I called to update my address and they kept saying

There can be some good finds in this shop but current management and help is very unfriendly and seem defensive and suspicious. Their delivery service, although independent, especially Randy, is horrible. My delivery was delayed three days due to his vehicle failure. He arrived in a large rented truck. My chair covers were filthy and finish on back of two chairs was chipped. Not planning to return.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TGTBT
I have been a consignor at this location for over 25 years. I have to say that the owner has become greedy and the store lacks customer service. I recently went in to consign my items only to be given a new contract that basically states that the owner will KEEP your clothes if the clothes are priced under $50 and they do not sell. That is ludacris! She basically is stealing from consignors! Her new consignor contract is unfair and just wrong. I have also had issues where my clothes have been stolen and the owner will not pay for the clothes or even offer to pay

I'm not sure if this can be considered a thrift store, when the items are practically the same price as on the "marked down" rack at the store! Or even more!
The selection is wide and I will say their is lots of high quality clothes and items but they are very proud of the items and price to highly to be considered thrifty.
Plus I walked around and was ignored by the 2 employees I saw, i purposely tried looking for a half off rack and made it obvious I was hunting for a specific rack... only to still be ignored.
Wouldn't go back, and if going prepare yourself to spend a higher

Amazing store. My wife didn't want anything for Mother's Day. But she loves Dooney and Bourne. Took her today. She bought two purses and a wallet
She said the pricing was amazing. While both were used, they were in amazing condition.
A lot of items still had new tags!
Good place to check out if on a budget but want something really nice.

This store is amazing! It's like shopping at the designer second hand shops (like thredUP) but you can try it all on and walk out the door! The prices are better than online too. I'm a size 12, and they had a huge selection for me. I loved the fabrics, the brands, the styles, etc. I had trouble walking out. Oh, and gorgeous furniture too!

There are two locations of Too Good To Be Threw in San Antonio, both are found on Blanco Road. This location is near Stone Oak, while the other is across 410 from North Star Mall.
Both locations have about the same size men's clothes selection. The main difference is that the North Star location tends to have more premium selection of clothes, but you will pay a higher price. This location, doesn't have as nice of a selection but if you find something it tends to be cheaper.
This store does have a massive furniture selection so you will be able to find some items, but the selection

This is a great company & I'm really confused by the reviews and decided to take a minute to address some of what is mentioned because I don't think some of these customers are being fair.
First, I have shopped in both of their stores and made purchases online. Compared to other consignment stores their prices are SOO good and they authenticate all designer items and don't accept anything accept the real deal. Second, their stores don't smell at all. They smell like normal retail clothing stores and furniture stores. They are much higher quality than a thrift store so

Should be illegal. They overcharge the consignee to 'pickup' furniture then overcharge the buyer to 'deliver' the furniture. There is no cost to their operation besides the sleazy locations and creepy staff. They only care to sell fast for high turnover and they cannot lose money because they are simply money changers. The most evil sort of middleman allowed to exist. You'll feel better and make 'slightly less' money by donating to Goodwill.

Too Good To Be Threw has a great selection of consignment furniture as well as clothing. Their inventory has a high turnover rate, so each time that you arrive it has a different great pieces. Given this, we had found a great desk and then next week it was gone. Their prices are competitive and discounts are allotted the longer a piece has sat in the store, which is a great perk. Also, they have a great clothing sections for women with both brand name (Loft, Ann Taylor) as well as designer clothing (St. John). You can even find a Louis Vuitton or Miu Miu bag in their display case. My biggest irk

Giant waste of time. After waiting for a woman to look through my clothes I was told I had to be "in their system" to consign and they had to be willing to buy 7-10 pieces...and they only wanted 5 of mine. I had nice suits but was told they had snags and stains...they did not, but what they DID have on the shelf was a yellow dress with a large red ink stain right on the front. (??) Also, the name of the store uses the incorrect form of "through" which really bugs. Never again.
