Having grown up with a father in the plumbing business, Mike has been around plumbing his whole life. He has been a master plumber for 5 years. He is currently the lead Project Manager at Zimmerman Plumbing but before coming into the office he spent 10 years in the field where at least 50% of his time was spent on healthcare projects.
Zimmerman Plumbing, Inc. is a company focused on mentoring and teaching the next generation. The phrase we like to use is "grow our own." We actively seek out apprentices to hire and place them with journeyman and/or master plumbers to train them in the "Zimmerman way." We are very proud of our reputation and work hard to maintain that.
The Zimmerman Plumbing team was awarded the plumbing and medical gas portion of our $68 million replacement hospital project that was completed in early 2014. I have been in healthcare for over forty-four years and have been responsible for demolishing buildings, renovating and constructing buildings, and this is only the second time in my career that I have experienced such personal pride and ownership taken by an organization.
