Stone Ridge Construction

I didn't use this business personally but I was at a house during the holidays sitting in the living room and stone work started falling off the fireplace from 9 feet high.
Installed by Stone Ridge Construction and is completely unsafe and we even had considered using them for our bathroom remodel but we will NEVER use them after seeing this.
Please look elsewhere and bring your business to people who do quality work.

I was recently at a friends for the holidays and his stone work fell OFF of his fireplace - apparently the builder does NOT care about quality because they have no solution to this problem. They claim it is out of warranty and then went on to say that this is similar to cars because you need to maintain those as well. However, when a car manufacturer makes something that is unsafe for the world THEY ARE REQUIRED to do a recall for quality. Something Stone Ridge Construction has never even considered. Perhaps they are inadequate at dealing with their own construction projects or they simply cannot

Stone Ridge Construction remodeled my kitchen and living room in 2017 and four years later the stone on the fireplace is falling off from approximately 9 feet high. When I contacted Stone Ridge Construction they indicated that the warranty has expired and they were not responsible for the defective installation of the stone. Please see photo below. This situation created a dangerous environment that almost landed on my grandson and yet they took no responsibility to remedy the situation. The poor workmanship and lack of responsibility is a major problem with Stone Ridge Construction.

We have worked directly with Stone Ridge since 2016 and through a designer before that. Russ and Danny are both amazing to work with. They're very professional and organized and all of our shared customers rave about their work. We've NEVER had a customer that wasn't completely satisfied and thrilled with Stone Ridge. And as a side note to the person that gave them one star, how can you give Stone Ridge a bad review for a different company being terrible? Give the other company a bad review!

I hate to write a negative review but they do deserve one. It has nothing to do with their work but everything to do with who they recommend as engineers. I was recommended to go to GeoQuest Engineering (specifically Doug). Please read that companies reviews, terrible! They were simple the worst people to ever deal with. Although this construction company might do a good job, they need to SERIOUSLY reconsider who they are recommending. Don't ever go to GeoQuest Engineering. I wasted $300 for absolutely nothing.

Over the past 4 years we have contracted with Stone Ridge Construction to do a complete remodel of our Master Bath, demo and retile our basement shower ,finish the drywall in our utility room, and most recently replace our rotted wooden deck with new joists & composite decking material.
We highly recommend Danny and Russ. Both are great to work with! They show up on time and finish on schedule and complete the task on or below estimated costs.
Their work ethic is outstanding,and they are masters of their craft.
They take pride in leaving the job site cleaner than when they started.
