Services
Collin started as an apprentice and quickly moved on to become a HVAC/Plumbing Technician, he traveled to Arkansas for HVAC training after learning the trade from his father. Collin is working on his Journeyman's Plumbing license, Mechanical Contractor's and his EPA certifications. In his free time he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
M&M Plumbing Heating and Cooling is a family owned business established in 1957 by Dick Monthei. The founder passed the business to his son Scott Monthei in 2007, Scott along with key management personnel have combined experience exceeding 150 years in the industry. We currently employ more than 19 Michigan plumbers, HVAC technicians and Fireplace Specialists and support staff.
We will explore each customer situation to sufficient detail and gather sufficient facts to gain an understanding of the problems, the scope of assistance needed, and the possible benefits our service and technical recommendations may provide our customers. We will respect each customer's home and property and leave them as clean as we found them.

Jason Weatherwax is our plumber and he is very talented. He has replaced the pump to our residential sewage system and he drains down our summer cottage for winter and fires us up in the spring. He is trustworthy and knows his stuff. Everyone needs a good plumber! You need Jason!😀 ab

Came out same day and quickly diagnosed the problem with my furnace. The tech was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately the current nation wide supply chain issues probably mean we have to get a new furnace instead of repairing our existing furnace but that's beyond anyone's control. Would absolutely recommend.
UPDATE: With a 3-4 month wait for new parts we ended up just replacing the 20 year old furnace, only had to wait about 8 calendar days to get on the schedule. The crew arrived exactly on time and were very polite and professional. Everything was completed with excellent craftsmanship

Scott and the crew were most professional and finished the job in a timely manner. They had to move some materials being used by another maintenance man I am having to complete some work, and they actually moved it back in place upon finishing their work! Great job!!

When my furnace quit working Scott came out immediately and unfortunately my furnace wasn’t repairable so he had to order one and unfortunately it was approximately 2 weeks out. Mark in the office gave me updates and then when the furnace came in Curtis and his crew came over the next day for the install. They were very kind and courteous and happy to answer any questions I had for them. Thank you M&M for all you did for me and getting my heat in my home up and running again

I had Collin out to the house we are renovating this morning to give us an idea of what we need to do to get our furnace up and running so we can move in. He was there at the earlier end of the time window they gave me and was able to give me an idea of what problems could come up when we finally get power out there. He answered my questions in ways that I could understand and then relate to the rest of my team and did not make me feel dumb for asking basic questions. I also appreciated that he was willing to answer even the most simple things and he really gave me confidence about going forward
