We hired platinum maids for a move out service and they did a terrible job. I would recommend going with someone else. Our apartment was about 700 sq ft and for nearly $200 all they did was vacuum and clean the fridge. All of the cabinets, closets, drawers, and laundry area hadn’t been touched. They left a big stain on the stove top indicating lazy work. Every surface still needed to be dusted. We are very disappointed with the service and ended up having to spend another hour cleaning after them. Think twice before hiring.

The cleaning ladies did not do a thorough job cleaning the floors, after 2 visits, the same spot was still there. I told them that I wanted to cancel the service because I was unhappy so they offered me one more for free to fix the issue and those spots were STILL there. They also weren't very timely. I asked for them to come before 11 or after 1 and they gave me a time slot of 11-11:45, then I left when they didn't show up and I sent them an email saying I had to leave because I had lunch plans and they said they were only 20 minutes late, I cannot except them to come exactly by 11:45

The owner is very accommodating and tries her best to please customers. However, her staff consistently have integrity issues and make mistakes repeatedly despite being shown what to do or not to do.
On one occasion they broke a small appliance and only accepted their responsibility after the owner was contacted. Despite being told how to operate a steam mop, and shown how it worked, they broke it.
They were given a few supplies to clean the house, which I like to use but these were not all returned. Most important of all, some brand new bottles were used somewhere else because the bottles came

I have never had a maid service in my life, but I hurt my back and couldn't get to the floors and hard to reach places. Out of desperation I called Platinum Maid. They were super responsive and offered a great price. I couldn't meet them at my place due to a work conflict, so I left the payment on the counter. I got home later that evening and was amazed and stunned at what a nice job they did. My place has never looked so nice. My downstairs neighbor came up to see and wanted their number. I love this maid service! After trying another service that charged extra for windows (our house is mostly windows) I found this place. The price is on par with most, they use natural cleaning products (when I come home the house lacks a smell rather than smelling like cleaning products), and they do a great job! I'm always impressed with how our old kitchen sink shines and our scuffed up floor is spotless. The best part about their service is how easy it is to contact them. The owner always responds immediately to texts, and will answer any questions. I highly recommend using their service

All of their "ratings" they post on their website are fake rating companies. They left several areas uncleaned and when I showed them the pictures they not only refused to give a refund but quibbled with me over contract terms claiming they were not asked to clean inside appliances even though they charged us the extra $25 for this.
I wish I had checked the other two reviews prior to this. It must have been a phishing e-mail which sent me their information. Please do not be fooled.

This service is a scam!-- I paid for a move- out cleaning service and only the stove was cleaned. The cleaner that arrive was a young woman who had a bucket with one bottle of cleaner. The carpet service technican never arrived to provide service. I recieved an email that they were having difficultly cleaning mold in the bathroom, but when I arrived to review- the bathroom was never even touched. Nothing was swept, mopped, or even whiped besides the stove. They do not answer calls once they charge you- they will email you that they will provide a recleaning, but never show up.

I contracted Platinum Maids to do a monthly cleaning service at my home. The first clean was scheduled to arrive at 12:30. Around 12 o'clock I received a phone call saying that the tech would be running behind and would not be to my house till 3:30. He arrived at 4:30 to start the clean.
The tech had my husband sign a form saying sign this so I can start. What we did not realize was that form made their satisfaction guarantee null and void. I have since requested a copy of the form they had him sign and the manager who will only identify himself as Tony refuses to provide it while laughing

I used their services in Sterling, VA and WAS SO DISAPPOINTED!!! They did a terrible job cleaning and did NOT do what their website stated. To make matters worse they have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee but when I tried to contact them again about the problem, they DID NOT RESPOND to my phone calls. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENCE SERVICE. It cost me $160 dollars to get basically nothing cleaned in my house.

Platinum Maid Service was unreliable, unaccommodating, and had very poor customer service. Not only did they not come during the scheduled time, but they also failed to notify anybody that they would be unable to come on the scheduled day at all. They were unwilling to come during my first available alternative time, which meant that I had to reschedule our tenant's move-in, and they offered no concessions for my wasted time and inconvenience.

I thought I had done enough research about the cleaning services in the Arlington area to feel comfortable choosing Platinum Maids, but it was a total waste of $95. The website lists A TON of services which the company claims to provide every single visit, but the work was just plain pathetic.

If I could give this service NEGATIVE 5 stars, I would.
This is the worst cleaning service and customer service I've encountered. On the first clean, they threw away a number of smaller products that were in my shower which were full- including travel sized Bumble and Bumble shampoo/conditioners as well as a very expensive ExfoliKate Face Scrub. However, I'm not entirely sure they were thrown away, I think they were pocketed. We called to complain and after getting the run around we finally got the cost of one item "credited".

This was my first time hiring professional housecleaners and for the money, they did not live up to my expectations. There was no consistency whatsoever between each visit. I never knew what was going to happen.
They were all nice and did fair jobs, but one month someone would come and not know how to make a bed -- but do awesome at the kitchen, then the next week one would come and barely clean the kitchen -- but do awesome at the bathroom.
I didn't like having to check every little thing because I never had the same person come twice. It wasn't worth my time or sanity.

I should have done my research as well! HORRIBLE, SPRINT, do not run or walk away from this company! I hired them to clean my bosses house. I fell for an advertisement saying they were # 1 in the Northern VA area.
It was difficult to get a quick appt but I figured that was because they were so good they must be booked. So, I had it scheduled the day before a big event that was being held at the home instead of a few days in advance which was preferred.

We used Platinum Maids twice. The first time, they were ok, good enough for us to ask them back for a townhouse two weeks later for a MOVE-OUT cleaning. What a HORRIBLE experience - cobwebs left in corners, dried dirty water from mop visible on hardwood floors, cupboards and kitchen drawers were not wiped out, referigerator wasn't wiped down, just sloppy work all around. The home was completely empty for them to clean! We were out of town, and returned a week later, immediately called and were told that we missed the 24hr deadline for calling, and they would not come back to finish the

This company came to my home on a Friday and left without cleaning the floors. They said they would be back within 24 hours but never called to set up an appointment. I had to call them repeatedly with no response back from them ever. I paid $120 to get my home cleaned, and because they recognized they didn't finish cleaning (any of the floors) they credited me back $15- woo hoo. When I complained the person I spoke to, basically told me that he couldn't do anything.
I can do something- and that is never use them again and tell everyone about my awful experience.

I guess since they thought we weren't around when they cleaned, they didn't have to do their job and could just collect the money. Since we no longer live in the house, I was unable to see the "work" until 2 days later and when I complained they told me I was outside of my 24 hour guarantee window. UNBELIEVABLE.
