Thanks for taking the time to get to know our business! We are Jose and Ana Ayala, founders and owners of J&A carpet cleaning. My wife and I met working at a food chain restaurant. We were partnered up to work side by side and ever since we've provided services at our best as a team. We learned many skills working together in the restaurant business, however it was not our long term goal.
We are a family owned and operated business proudly serving Northern Virginia since 2015. J&A Carpet Cleaning provides high quality services for residential and commercial locations. J&A Carpet Cleaning proudly provides steam cleaning services, the number one method of carpet cleaning recommended by most carpet manufacturers. We achieve this by using a method of steam cleaning called the "Hot Water Extraction Method", or HWEM for short. While there are other methods of cleaning carpet, the HWEM removes deep dug dirt and allergens from your carpet and cleans more than just the visible surface.
The truth is you're not. If you own a mattress chances are you're actually sleeping with thousands of tiny creatures called dust mites. Dust mites are microscopical creatures found in carpet, mattresses, and upholstery and feed off dead skin cells. Gross! These tiny creatures cannot be seen with the naked eye but can cause a variety of health problems such as allergies, asthma, respiratory infections and coughing/sneezing.
Overtime tiled floors tend to lose their shine and luster due to collected dirt and grime. This is mainly due to the porous nature of tile/grout causing discoloration and loss of luster. We recommend to clean your tile/grout using the Hot Water Extraction Method (HWEM). Using methods of cleaning such as mopping and scrubbing may help preserve your tile/grout but will not produce the same results as having them cleaned using the HWEM.

They showed up on time, were pleasant and courteous, and took great care to keep disruption to a minimum. They wore masks and shoe covers, and did a very thorough cleaning job on an area rug, dining room chairs, and two sets of stairs. We had a mini flood in the basement that seeped under the wainscoting into the downstairs living room and we were SCREWED. My fiancé found J&A and they were able to come out next day. The gentleman who came to check out the damage was punctual, communicative, and came to check on the water damage multiple times during the week. He got our carpets dry, and even the foundation underneath. He also checked to make sure that there was no moisture behind the basement walls! J&A did an amazing job on our townhouse! We have a dog who have spinal issues which means he wasn't able to take full control of his bowels. We had unpleasant dog urine streaks on our carpet after being in our home just over a year.
Because the marks have become more and more prominent, we wanted to get these stains cleaned out before it was too late.

I love family businesses- Given the opportunity to use a large company vs small, I always will go with a family owned and operated company. Fast service, they fit me in on short notice and the best part is I didn’t have to pick up before hand. Oh and they even got hardened slime out of the carpet!

J&A did an excellent job cleaning my carpets. Took the extra time to make sure that a deep stain in one of the bedrooms was removed before taking payment. Having four children, I never thought the carpets would look as good as they do after the cleaning. Practically looks brand new! The owner was on time, worked within the time frame provided, and received payment only after he personally walked through the home with me. Would gladly use again and highly recommend.
