Dutchmen Construction was founded in 1993 by local resident Tom Nevins with a mission of providing home improvements to residential and commercial clients in the Rockland and Bergen County areas. Tom was born and raised in Orangeburg, New York and takes great pride in the work he does for it's residents.

We hired Dutchmen for a roof replacement, and Tom took the time to answer all our questions and concerns about preventing leaks down the line, and he provided a very detailed estimate. He walked us through his installation process, and could tell the work was going to be done very well. We were very happy with the quality of the work and the cleanup afterwards, and will keep Dutchmen in mind for future projects.

Hired Dutchmen Construction to repair/replace a 1000 sq/ft two-tiered deck and was very pleased with the results. Tom is a master of his craft and manages his business in a highly professional manner. The quote you get from Dutchmen may not be your lowest, but you can rest assured you'll receive quality work and a pleasant experience. Shout out to Matt (skilled carpenter), who busted it all day, every day and produced a great looking deck.

Dutchman construction was hired to replace all windows and upgrade siding to vinyl. The work was impeccable and the house looks amazing. The job was huge and we had been saving since we bought the house but the job was affordable. They were so great we even booked them to redo our deck a few weeks after construction ended. Our home is now perfect and we couldn’t thank them enough.

What I thought would be a complicated, expensive fix to a leaking roof turned out to be fairly simple, thanks to Dutchmen Construction and Tom. Tom was precise with his estimate, hard working, kind, immaculate, and professional. He went out of his way to explain exactly what he was doing and sent me photos so that I could see the state of the roof before and after his work. Great, talented guy. I highly recommend Dutchmen Construction.
