My parents had this company do wood flooring for them and it turned out great, so their work quality is good, my lack of stars is because I contacted them for a quote, they had me measure my own rooms, find out the brand of the flooring I wanted matched, then never responded and when I followed up I was told I could order the flooring myself and they would install it for $2.50 per sqft, that’s not the type of service that i would expect from a flooring company and it was not the service my parents got (they came and measured, ordered the flooring, and installed) Basically I’m assuming I live

Had a job done by this JDL first week of July. John sounded so pleasant and very reassuring. Have many email exchanges and text with him prior and during the job. Of course, once the check was cashed that was the it from him. The price was very similar to everyone else that I interviewed. So they were not overcharging. Well, the job was not done properly so the floor that was put in by them started to warp not even 3 weeks after. At first they blamed us of course, but the issue that caused the need for new flooring was resolved a month before they even started and it was replaced with brand new

Outsources work to poor quality Newark contractors - No this is not a fake review, I hired this company, they sent someone else from Newark, yes that's where they were based according to the workers that showed up and ruined my house. I had to settle with the owner, happy to send the emails to back all of this up.

These guys are miracle workers. They came and brought floors back to life that had been hidden under carpeting by the previous home owners. They did the entire house and I'm glad I chose them. They took great care during sanding and staining and I can say I'm pleased. Even though they don't do haul away for the carpet (which they let you know up front) I still give them 5 stars. Definitely recommend

So happy we used JDL to do our floors. They both refinished some old hardwood flooring and put down new hardwood floors in other rooms.
Their staff was friendly, courteous, and prompt They worked from the moment they walked into the house til they left.
I show off my floors to everyone, I love them! If only every home project was this easy.
