Horrible Degrading Experience!
Would leave zero stars if I could!!

Local Movers, Lincoln Nebraska

I had local movers scheduled to move us today, and we ended up not needing them with everything going on I completely forgot to call them back to cancel. They arrived today and I apologized and asked what I owed them for coming out. The driver told me I didn't owe anything because they didn't do any work, I again apologized and that was it.

I then received a call from what I believe to be the owner immediately cussing me out calling me a stupid A** B***** Dumb F*** and B**** this B***

Don’t use!!!!! Completely unprofessional. Tracked mud throughout. Was rude, yelling at the customer in the driveway. Calling names when asked about the mud. Had to threaten to call the police to get him to stop yelling and leave. Very slow movers to increase time.

Completely unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, total pieces of trash! NEVER EVEN CONSIDER THIS “company” FOR YOUR NEXT MOVE! If Local Movers shows up in your search for a moving company, delete and start again. Don’t even give them a second of your consideration!

I used Local Movers 2 yrs ago... used them again today!! And they did not disappoint!!! Gary, Jeff, Casper!!! What a great crew! Came in did waaay above and beyond!!! I always refer to Local Movers, and I will, NEVER EVER... use any other company! And 100% the price is RIGHT!!! THANKS GUYS!

Dave and his felon brother are HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!! DO NOT HIRE THIS company!!! If I could give them zero stars I would. Very rude when I called to Very unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them at all costs!

Employees and "sub-contractors" were rude and inconsiderate. They were hired by a third party to move a friend who just recently lost her husband. One mover, Gary, showed absolutely no regard for her late husband's belongings and made rude comments within earshot. Had I known these movers hadn't yet been paid, I would have physically thrown Gary and the others off the property. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Don't even bother with Local Movers. Dave the owner and his brother are unprofessional and cannot be trusted. I also watched them treat their contract employees with no respect.

Oh my Gosh. I can't believe this guy is still in business. The dude seriously does not have a clue how to run a business. I called him one month before my moving date. I told him July 31st. At the end of our call he said okay, July 30th. I said, no, July 31st. He said oh, July 31st. I said yes. His employee calls me on July 30th and said they are running early. I told him he has the wrong date. I told the guy to let me know if he could still move me July 31st. I never heard a word back. I text both the owner and employee. I left a message. The owner is absolutely horribly RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He will not think twice about cussing you out, calling you a name or simply hang up on you. No clue how they still are in business!!

Absolutely rude, I called to see about availability for 2 movers and a truck. I had 2 beds to move and a few furniture items. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude right from the beginning. He basically yelled at me saying I would need 3 men to do the job. When I told him I've used 2 movers previously he yelled even more. Absolutely rude service, I've never delt with someone like this before, instantly set off for no reason. I wouldn't trust someone like this moving my things.

I called Local Movers to get a quote on moving and the guy that answered the phone was verbally abusive and hung up on me!!! Don't even waste your time on this very unprofessional so called company!!!

The guys were great. Very fast and didn't break anything. They were finished faster than the quote. The 3 guys that moved us were all polite.

I have never experienced being spoken to the way I was spoken to by these people. I called and left a message asking for a quote on a move. By the time they called me back (the next day, not a bad turnaround) I had already heard back from a different company and had decided to go with them. I was very polite and told them thank you for calling back but that I no longer needed a quote. The man on the phone proceeded to yell at me about how I "must have chosen a terrible company with no insurance and good luck with that". I told him that he wasn't being very friendly and he said "

So explain THIS. How can two men cannot get a boxspring up the stairs (a little tight) BUT a 100 pound lady can? Hmmmm...that's how my experience with them went. But don't y'all worry, my muscles and common sense got my boxspring up the stairs without a single scratch. Next time you need moving services, just call me. "One lady and a jeep." I'll actually try and use my brain to move your stuff! ;)

Warning! Don't use this company!! Rude, verbally aggressive, abusive to my spouse. Wish I could give a negative rating!
They moved my neighbor yesterday, and blocked the entire roadway leading to our garage as well as the garages of eight of our neighbors. When asked to move so that people could gain access to their houses, the owner and some of his workers became extremely agitated, verbally aggressive and abusive, and even threatened my neighbor physically. They called my wife a f****** b****. How they can stay in business mystifies me. There are many many similar stories regarding this
