We got a quote from Mike Dickinson, and the quote came in similar to Home Depot (mid range) cabinets. If you have a chance to visit Dickinson's workshop, you will know what "custom" cabinet actually means! The finished product was immaculate! Dickinson Cabinetry redid our kitchen and its great! The work was done in a timely fashion and the results exceeded our expectations.
The area was clean at the end of each day so continuing too live in our home was not an issue. I made an appointment and went to Dickinson Cabinetry's showroom. Mike, the owner gave me a tour of his "lair". The cabinets were exquisite. He could interpret and understand my vision which made the decision to have him build my kitchen cabinets an easy one.

Mike Dickinson made our cabinets 3 years ago so this review long overdue.
We had a complete kitchen remodel done and worked with Mike on every detail of what we wanted. Our kitchen was on the small side so we wanted to make the best use of every inch we had and Mike was able to fine tune the design to maximize the storage and functionality of our work space.
I have to say that after 3 years everything still looks and performs like new and we are people that really use our kitchen several times a day every day for meal preparation.

We needed a small vanity for our smallest bathroom, but the prefab cabinets were so tiny that they didn't maximize use of the limited space in our bathroom. So we contacted Dickinson Cabinetry for a custom cabinet. Truly customized. We got to choose the exact size, type of wood, stain, number of drawers, you name it. Mike was even willing to speak with our contractor to make sure the plumbing would all fit correctly too! We had this cabinet installed 2 years ago. This photo is from today. It still looks beautiful!

Having a team who is great at what they do and know how to truely work collaboratively are key to successfully executing projects and achieving next level results. Mine was a pretty small job. We had a small nook in the mudroom area that was pretty unusable. My designer suggested Dickinson when I said I'd like to fill the space with a high/low cabinet pair. They came out and measured for the order. Took a little bit of time because of the pandemic shutdown, but I was fine with that. The delivered cabinets are made as per their website and are very solid and professionally painted. I like the result. Their cost is fairly high, but I believe I got proper value for my money.

I am remodeling my master bath. I purchased a bath vanity and a tall mirrored cabinet. I sat down with Mike Dickinson, the owner and described the design I had in mind. He was so pleasant to work with and designed exactly what I wanted. The quality/ workmanship of the cabinetry is outstanding. The drawers/doors open/close perfectly. We hired Dickinson Cabinetry for our recent remodel. We came to know about them through our contractor JTK Builders. Our contractor assured Dickinson's quality and timing. There are so many good things to share about Dickinson Cabinetry. Their work is absolutely beautiful. The products I received were a work of quality craftsmen. They created all of my kitchen cabinets several years ago. Just a couple of months ago, they built a custom vanity for my master bathroom. The compliments I get on both the kitchen and bathroom cabinets never end. I can also comment on how well they hold up, since the kitchen cabinets were installed approx. 5 years ago. They really look pretty much brand new. Not one issue to report.

The best way to sum up our experience with Mike Dickinson and team is that he truly made our kitchen dreams come true and was a pleasure to work with in the process. Mike designed, and built custom cabinetry for my kitchen remodel. Mike came up with a thoughtful and esthetically leasing design. The construction of doors and drawers, even the shelves and pullout trays is extremely solid, detailed-oriented and with an unbelievable precision. I have my whole kitchen, bathrooms, and living cabinets custom made by Dickinson. I will not look anywhere else... They are the absolute pro. Cabinets are built like a tank. Mike is extremely professional to work with. Attention to details... Perfection... Are words come to mind when I see the final products.

If there is a heart to any house, it has to be the kitchen. It's where everything happens, the pulse of life flows in and out of this one room. When we started our remodel, we decided that we wanted our kitchen to be inviting, open and bright. It would need to be highly functional for both serious cooking but also serious entertaining.

We hired Mike to help us rebuild our kitchen. Our kitchen cabinetry's quality is really high which made our kitchen extremely beautiful. However, it was hard to work with Mike because we rarely would receive communication from him regarding the project progress or delivery date. It became a bit of a challenge. The only way we would know the progress was through our contractor. If you want high quality cabinets, I would recommend Mike. If you prefer to have someone to step-by-step walk you through your project, Mike may not be the best choice.

Their attention to detail, quality of fabrication, superior finishes and follow-through will leave you wondering how you could ever have even considered using another cabinet shop. Constrcution was top notch and prices very reasonable. Most important, when we had a couple issues with paint cracking, they were on the spot immediately, fixed everything, no,questions asked. This company is very professional.
