What many people don't know is the difference between harmful insects and beneficial insects. Most insects cause damage for just a short period of time each year.
Emerald Ash Borer (Agrilus planipennisor EAB) is a tree insect that is sweeping the Milwaukee Metro area of SE Wisconsin and killing thousands of Ash Trees. It's a relatively new pest in the Midwest and is now found throughout the Milwaukee metro area including Waukesha County, Ozaukee County and Washington County.
Accurate diagnosis is essential to using effective tree disease treatments. Tree diseases are abnormalities in trees and shrubs caused by microorganisms such as fungi and bacteria and by environmental stress such as drought, temperature extremes, and air pollution. Tree disease is often difficult to diagnosis because different causal agents can produce similar symptoms.

We recently purchased a home with overdue tree maintenance. Matt has taught us about how to keep our trees healthy and manage buckthorn. He got crews out to remove 5 dead/dying trees and grind the stumps in advance of our fence install. In the fall, he recommended pruning our 50+ year old maples and a fertilizer treatment. Always very responsive and happy to answer questions.

M+M was once known for its service, quality, and reliability. Sadly, that is no longer true.
It seems that they are re-organizing, and the new management does not manage the projects well.
Numerous service dates promised, numerous service dates missed, numerous excuses given.
Best to take your project elsewhere if you ever want it completed.
(Had trouble with their snow plowing also). Posted for SC.

I can’t brag enough about this company. I had several stumps removed from my yard recently and mulch delivered for the last 5 years. The team-member showed up on time and was thoroughly professional. He did a great job really quickly, then cleaned up the yard after removing the stumps and dropped the mulch exactly where I requested it in the driveway. The mulch was so much nicer than I expected. The brown color made it almost look dyed but it wasn't. I have had this last batch spread for about 2 months now and it still looks great!

I had a fairly delicate tree removal. My house, my neighbor's house and garage and power lines were all at risk for a large ash tree removal.
Salesman Matt came out, explained what they were going to do, how they were going to do it and when. He was very professional and thorough. I of course needed a bonded and insured company. Unlike some other removal folks I didn't have to beg them for that information,. It came, in writing with my quote. Once again, very professional.
Inside Ops man Zach called me to communicate a much understood rain delay. He is both pleasant and professional. Their crew

This is the second year we have used M&M Tree Care. Aside from doing excellent work, they have a good time working together. I can't say enough about this great crew. They were always careful cutting/trimming trees esp. around some of our ornamentals. They spent three days here cutting and trimming big branches and nothing was damaged. Their safe ethical work habits stand out and shows in their work. I highly recommend calling Zak and Brian if you need tree service. You won't be sorry using them and will have peace of mind when they are at your home.

We had an ash tree that was obviously sick and hanging precariously over our neighbor's garage so we called M&M to see what could be done. They were honest and forthright in letting us know it had to come down, and they did an excellent, efficient, and clean job when the time came. They needed to work around two close garages and power lines and had the tree down and cleaned up in a day. Excellent work.

From the initial estimation process and job scheduling to the final removal of the tree and stump, every member of the M&M staff was friendly, professional, and willing to answer our questions. The yard was immaculate after the project was completed and the office receptionist was so personable when I called to make the final payment. We were highly satisfied with the level of service that everyone provided. Kudos for a job well done!

I came home to find a couple big tree limbs down on my house and driveway, I opened the drive but knew what was on house was more then I could do. While other tree services told me over a month wait, M & M came the next day to remove limbs on house and clean up. Courteous & Professional I was happy they came to my rescue!

M&M's team just removed a giant tree from in front of my house, and the lead man is a GENIUS to calculate the exact degrees, angles, rope placements and cuts so that all branches fell precisely along the sidewalk or street with no collateral damage. The two helpers were also amazing. A brilliant crew!
