Look no further for a new air conditioner. From the first phone call to the installation, Ocean State proved why they have so many five star reviews. The installation specialists Mike and Matt were professional, meticulous, and knowledgeable. We have a beautiful new level concrete slab and coffin box. They are truly rock stars and an asset to Ocean State. Thanks Rob, in sales, who recommended the air scrubber… where have you been all my life??? What a difference breathing in clean air. We live on Amelia Island and distance was not an issue. Seriously, they are the best in the business.

Never underestimate the value of professional dryer duct service. Matt and Billy were on time, prepared and knowledgeable. Based on my homes dryer location, this was not an easy job and two technicians were definitely needed. They were very courteous, and cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend this company and these two guys to take care of your dryer vent problems.

We had Ocean State replace our AC unit last fall. They did the work quickly and with what appears to be a professional installation. All good.
The only issue is that we noted that there was only one return duct into the closet for the air to return to the air handler. the bedrooms at the other side of the home were subject to poor air delivery. I know from a previous home. we had a similar issue and return air ducts were installed to allowed the system to work in "balance".
We contact Ocean State a month after the installation and the representative came out and advised us

Our service tech, Robert, was AMAZING!! Robert went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure we got our a/c fixed as fine and fast as possible. Even as he had to work in high temperatures to fix it. He also explained everything we needed to know as we went along My daughter has some serious health issues and he was not about to leave us stranded without a/c Cant say enough about the customer service. We could use him around all the time he is so kind and knowledgeable about things. We would use this company again anytime.

The people at Ocean State where very helpful and extremely professional. From the woman who took my first call for scheduling, My sales rep who showed up the very next day, to my technicians Robert and Matt.
Both technicians took the time to answer all my questions all while one or the other was still working on getting my new unit installed. Matt and Robert worked as a team and made sure the job was done right, but also with no wasted. All around a great job done by all at Ocean State!

What a refreshing experience! I just had Ocean State AC to warranty work and replace my 2 Carrier Mini Split condensers that went out at the same time. When I called in the office, everyone knew what was going on with my warranty case. The service agent, Angel, is a hoot and so personable and knows his stuff. I highly recommend them for great customer service, knowledgeable techs, and accommodating quick turn times.

The team at Ocean State is a God-send. Every experience we’ve had with them from the very beginning has been top-notch! Devon and Mike did an excellent job, were friendly and helpful and got everything in the wall and up and running so we can commence with siding. Great job!

Thank you guys for your efforts in coming next day at my preferred time! I'm writing this review to acknowledge your employee, Robert. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient! I had a leaking AC unit and we ended up having to dig down in the backyard to find the pipe which was a messy project and he was so kind to clean it up and leave my home the way he showed up! WOW !! After a bad experience with another company in town and after more research I cane across Ocean State , and I'm glad from the first call to the guy who came out to do the estimate everyone in this family friendly business was wonderful !!! I have recommended OSA to everyone I know and will continue . When I got my estimate I had three choses to pick from , leaving it up to me after he went over each system and what they did . It was great to know that I was going with a company who cares ! I would highly recommend Ocean State Air to everyone !!!

I called Oceanstate(with not much hope of getting someone)on Saturday morning. They said someone would be there between 2 and 4 PM. And they did.Dave came out to access the problem of 2 AC's not working it was 90+ in my house. Dave worked on unit 1 got it running and said he would be back Monday moring and he just left..all is great. They will always be my go-to AC and heating repair. Thanks again Dave you're awesome.

They showed up and it looked like a difficult job so they left. Told me the fan motor wasn't the original motor and wasn't a Trane motor. I also had already removed all the panels and wiring covers so all wires could be seen. I had checked for some of the obvious items like blown fuse etc. and figured why put it all back on as the technician would have to remove them again. This seemed a big concern as he called the office and said I was a mr handyman and wires were everywhere . Yea! The covers were all off and everything was visable. Regardless they must want to do big easy jobs

Ocean State serviced our A/C and Heat at two locations for hears because that when you call them a real person answers the phone. Over the years they've fallen into the same practice of always recommending a capacitor change, not cleaning out the lines or compressor area, and sending technicians that were too much work to listen to and deal with.
Final straw was when Ocean State refused to do some ducting work to balance the system after they visited and provided an estimate.
There are better businesses out there with a better reputation.

We used Ocean State for over 10 years. The service people are always neat and polite. Unfortunately, every time we have them out even for routine service calls covered by our annual Maintenance contract they always find expensive repairs. Today was the final straw. We had a coil replaced for two thousand dollars a little over a year ago. Now they found a leak which the serviceman said probably occurred during the installation by their service people. Of course the warranty is only one year. So they want another two thousand. Topping it off the service manager called ( a unpleasant little fellow

Run!!!!!!! Very untrustworthy and poor ethics. I had the Disfortune of working with them for 2 service calls. Both times a man named Randy. 1st call was for an apparent Freon leak. Randy didn't have a leak detector on his truck. Since he couldn't tell how bad leak was he said putting in Freon would be a waste but if I insisted on it, it would be minimum of $600 plus trip charge. Only other option given was to replace my unit. Called another company and problem solved for $250. Still working fine 2 summers later.

I've used Ocean State for more than a decade and remain impressed with the office staff and the technicians who do the work on my home. Their pricing is reasonable, and they always deliver on their promises. When I need a service person to come out between 6-month maintenance visits, they're fast and thorough. All businesses should be this good.

Randy Bass did an outstanding job of servicing our two a/c units. He was very efficient, finishing the semi-annual servicing within the hour. Twice-a-year preventive maintenance service for $300 is very good value considering the cost of an urgent repair. He was very polite and also came at exactly the time of the appointment...that doesn't seem to happen very often with other companies and services! We highly recommend Ocean State...and Randy.

Had issues with my A/C unit, was needing someone to come and check it out - think Florida heat and humidity. I called Ocean State A/C & Heating late afternoon and they had a professional technician in a fleet vehicle to my house within two hours. He came in and diagnosed my a/c unit, professionally explaining to me step by step what he was doing. Would I call them again? ABSOLUTELY!

Simply Horrible. The first time I used them they got for $200 on something others do for free. Today not only did they try to get me on a quick $90 service fee unexpectedly, but they tried to charge me $600 more than J & W Heating did. On top of that, they refused quotes on optional upgraded services and also insisted upon incorrect info about my system. Oh ya, a cap is missing from my unit now too. Save yourself $ and headache, go elsewhere!!!!
