I recently used My Guys for two separate moves…one into my storage unit, then a few months later, out of storage and into our new home. I’ve never seen such hardworking group! Percell was the crew leader each time & the guys worked as a team, were efficient and FAST. I was shocked how they packed my storage unit to the ceiling and absolutely nothing was broken. My Guys were great to work with!! They communicated well, and we knew exactly what to expect the day of the move. The quote we started with was spot on, and a great deal. Day of the move the team arrived promptly, and were all very nice and courteous. We moved from two separate apartments into one in less than five hours! Do not use this company. They broke my TV while moving and are only going to reimburse me up to $50. I was not informed of this policy before. I had asked my stuff be wrapped and it wasn't. Lots of other little damage to my things. Also, the I signed an invoice with the movers based on the time and agreed to An amount and was charged more. When I called I was told they calculated it wrong. But they didn't, we calculated it together. So I am out a TV and was overcharged. Just waiting for a call back. One of the worst experiences with a company ever. When you call to book they are lovely

I would sincerely appreciate if the owner of this company would contact me. Your company just charged me for two moves when I paid s deposit for one. When I asked to speak to her boss she would not allow me. I told her she did not have authorization to charge my card and she did any how. I called back and she has left the office. Mike would not allow me to speak to Bridget’s boss. I am going to my bank now to file a dispute. I would appreciate a phone call from someone who can help me. Thank you.

TERRIBLE BUSINESS! Service I received for the movers was great. The Management is terrible. The movers informed me that they had damaged my table and they made a note of it on the receipt and I faxed a the requested form in within the 7 day window to be reimbursed for the damage. I received an email stating "We have received your claim form. However your claim was not turned into the claims department within the seven day period. Therefore your claim is denied." We had a 4 guy team that made our move SO easy. They estimated it would take 5 hours but it only ended up taking 2.75. They were efficient and extremely careful with all of our furniture. They notified me immediately if something was wrong with a piece of furniture before they moved it, which I appreciated. They wrapped and covered each piece so it… would not be damaged and were very careful when moving it. They got the truck unloaded at our new house so quick and put everything exactly where I wanted it. They took my direction well and were very polite and professional about it.

Moved at the end of March from a 2BR apartment to a 4 BR house in Richmond. I requested and paid for BOTH packing services along with moving. No one came to survey our belongings and initiate packing ahead of time like other companies do. 3 guys showed up on move day and had NO idea they were expected to pack our stuff. Their front office never clarified this expectation and did not make appropriate arrangements. They sent a 4th guy to help with packing which drove up the price. Moving guys showed up late (1hr) but I was updated with a call. Was told bed frame disassembly was included yet moving team showed up with no drill or any tools. Had to give them a screwdriver and watch as they struggled for 30 mins to disassemble the frame. Very unprofessional to show up so unprepared for a service that's supposed to be included and done well. May have damaged the screw holes I won't know until I try and put the bed frame together again. Crew seemed to take little care in moving the furniture and were overmatched for the job. Ok services. Guys arrived late on the first day for packing with no phone call or anything else. The next 3 days were fine. Most of the furniture survived the move, but some had minor damage in the process. The biggest issue is do not allow them to rebuild any furniture without supervision. I had to rebuild all of our beds and all of them were missing pieces.

I had a good first impression, but they damaged my garage door sensor and lied that they were nowhere near it when I filed the claim. Even with all the pictures that I took they still denied my claim. My entire garage was filled with the items they unpacked!
No resolution so looks like I will be paying for repairs out of pocket. I even went out of my way to buy snacks, drinks, and lunches for everyone and this is the thanks I get. Saying that I feel insulted is an understatement.

I called this company in Virginia Beach to move my moms things from the facility she was in back to her home. It was a horrible time because she had just passed away and I was pretty discombobulated from the experience. One phone call to them took such a burden off me and I am forever grateful.
I live in another city and couldn't be there to make sure everything went well. I was really stressed about that, but I didn't need to be, they did exactly what they said they were going to do and gave me peace of mind and you can't put a price on that!!

There are a lot of mixed reviews out there, but our experience with My Guys Moving was really good! We were moving about ten minutes up the road and wanted someone to move all the big pieces of furniture and the heavy boxes. My husband called and got a reasonable quote. We were told they'd arrive between 8 & 9am which they did. We were told it would probably be about 4 hours to move everything. It ended up being just slightly less. The crew was friendly and personable and fast.

Unprofessional and stressful is the best way to sum up this experience. Our movers were loud and hollering the entire time - often from the third to the first floor or down a hallway, or at me directly while on a phone call. They made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed and like I was going to get in trouble from the property manager. They treated our items like they were trash, and carelessly tossed boxes around, placed them upside down, and put them in the incorrect rooms even with clear color coded labels on each.
