Almost 30 years ago, Steve Casey, founder and president of Tennessee Wood Flooring, started a small, hardwood flooring company on his family farm in Kentucky. He began by retailing flooring from wholesalers. It wasn't long before Steve began to apply his creativity and manufacturing skills to the hardwood flooring industry.
Tennessee wood flooring is a multi-faceted manufacturing facility. In light of an ever-changing housing market and increasing lumber costs, we are proud to present our Tennessee Story Book Cottage packages. We continue to do what we love every day, creating unique wood products with the highest level of creativity and craftsmanship money can buy.
Our Reclaimed Barnwood floors and our Reclaimed Ceiling and Wall Accent are genuine reclaimed material that comes from barns all over the Southeast.
Reclaimed barn wood is a natural product and may contain certain aged characteristics including but not limited to: color variation, nail holes, mortise holes, insect holes, livestock cribbing (chewing), staining, tapering, wane (not squared) etc. Due to the technology of the time, reclaimed barnwood dimensions are not as exact as in modern day milled lumber.The dimensions can vary.

Here at Tennessee Wood Flooring, we take pride in what we do. Each order is handcrafted to reflect the the authenticity that you deserve. All of our stains are mixed by us and the distressing is created with hand tools for a one-of-a-kind touch. We have spent years developing the products that are featured in our displays, and we think we have them narrowed down to the cream of the crop!
After 20 years in business, we have searched high and low to find suppliers that use sustainable forestry practices. Modern lumber harvesting does not strip the land of all of the trees. In the past, clear cutting practices decimated forests beyond what they could naturally replenish. This had tremendous negative impact on the environment.

Terrible, buyer beware!
If 0 stars was an option that is what they would receive. Terrible product and even worse costumer service. I ordered a floor from their sample and when I received the product it was night and day different. I notified them at the beginning of construction and they advised me that this was my floor and they hope I learn to love it. Go to their Facebook page for pics if they haven’t erased the review. This is my second review on here as they erased the first. Terrible, buyer beware!

We love our product from Tennessee Wood Flooring. We've built two houses and remodeled two other homes from top to bottom. We only learned of Tennessee Wood Flooring on our most recent building project but wished we knew of them 15 years ago. We put solid hickory in three of the four homes mentioned above, and on our other projects, we paid more, waited longer and didn't like the end product as much as what we got from Tn Wood Flooring. We chose to go with a custom stain and we had great communication with the folks at Tn Wood Flooring. They really listened to what we wanted and also educated us

I worked with Tenn Wood Flooring to creat me a unique floor and that’s what they delivered. Beautiful pre-finished with gorgeous saw marks added for character. They delivered early and with high quality. This group knows more about flooring than most in the industry and show it in their great products. A major restaurant downtown ,Fiveoaks could have bought flooring from anyone but they chose to go with Tn Wood. Don’t be swayed buy one bad review on this site, there’s always one ANGRY BIRD. Don’t miss out on these floors!!
