Horrible experience. We scheduled a moving appt with DC Movers for a Saturday at 9am and they didn't arrive until 5:30pm... Once they arrived, the movers- Fred & DJ were excellent and very careful with our furniture. We tipped the movers appropriately but tried to negotiate a discount with the moving company since they were 8.5 hours late... Long story short, they only offered us a 10% discount and charged our credit card without permission (we tried to pay in cash to avoid the 3% fee). The entire experience was exceptional. The move team led by Arron Cole was first class. All about customer service. Fast, reliable and no mistakes. They went straight to it with preparation of my things. Cole, Fred, Tony all deserver a raise. What ever your paying them, pay them more!!

My experience was less than expected. Two men arrived with a rental truck. They worked very quickly but independently. My furniture legs were dragged across carpet going out and dragged again out of the truck. My glass top coffee table was destroyed and there was no follow up from the office management. Cannot recommend.

I would not recommend this moving company. The owner breached his own contract that I had in writing and audio recording. I have 2 watches missing, multiple items broken, my washer and dryer have not worked properly after the 2 TENTHS of a mile they had to travel with it and they worked so SLOW it was horrific. I did not have any bedroom furniture. Very little furniture to move and everything else was all boxed up and labeled FRAGILE. APPARENTLY they didn't understand what FRAGILE MEANT! I called a company out of Charlotte but last minute I was told 'that truck' was in the shop and

Hired these guys to move my 2 apartment sized storage unit into a 3 story house with a 3 man crew. They were excellent! Crew communicated their arrival, navigated a nightmare of a parking situation, were very efficient, courteous and practiced great COVID protocols by being masked the entire time. They did a great job being careful in our new construction and my husband and I were very grateful. Would highly recommend DC Movers.

We used DC Movers for my mom. It was an apartment (1 bedroom) on the 3rd floor to a move on a 1st floor apartment. DC movers did an outstanding job. They were on time and did not waste any time. They were very careful wrapping furniture and not bumping into walls. They securely wrapped all of my moms furniture diligently. We picked a package of 3 movers and received a set of boxes that were delivered a week prior to her move date. We paid less than $400 and the 3 guys we had were super nice and friendly. They all wore their mask the entire move during these COVID times. We will be recommending

The movers were an exceptionally good group to work with. They truly eased an already stressful situation. Their crew was courteous and efficient. They were also concerned with protecting our house such as floors and wall corners etc. They arrived when they said at our home and also at our new location. It was really seamless. We were very pleased with DC Movers Moving services for our out of state move. Their crews and driver were energetic, polite, hard working, and good communicators. The pre-move estimators were accurate as far weights and measures. While we did the packing, they helped supply boxes and packing supplies as well as helpful instructions on how to pack our dishware and fragile items properly for safe transport. We were impressed with the driver's commitment and attention to detail with the loading and unloading of our possessions. And while everything in a move is never perfect, the movers overcame

We have had several moves recently between ourselves and aging parents. Working with this company was the best experience of the bunch. They communicated well, arrived on time, worked quickly, protected our furniture well with blankets and shrink wrap. Their billing is easy to understand and everything made sense at the end of the move. They weren't the cheapest option, more average price based on my research, but they were by far the best choice. When you factor in the lack of damage to our belongings they probably were cheaper than other movers that we have used recently.

Great guys, it was hot. I was tired watching them. They moved my third floor apt to my new one. I got some special they have for apartments, was about $20 cheaper per hour than anyone else that seemed legitimate. I was happy with the service. Took a little longer than I hoped but I understand the steps were a beast and Dwayne, Cash and Fred worked without stop all the way through. They kept a good attitude the whole time, friendly and professional.

DC Movers did a great job for me moving a two bedroom apartment up down two flights and up one. Oh and it was hot. They moved at a good pace. I'm not like those people who think because someone does this for a living they have some type of super human ability to sprint up stairs in 90 degree heat. I was however impressed that the pace never dropped off. They took one break I wasn't charge for and were friendly and polite. I will use them again and send my friends their way.

Choosing this company to move my 3 bedroom apartment was a terrible experience. I am extremely dissatisfied with what happened. First of all,the packing that I needed was set up to be done from 2-4 the Friday before. Someone called and let me know that it had to be cancelled and would be done on the day of the move. The movers had an arrival time between 9-11 am, they arrived at 11 am aware there was packing to complete. In addition, the packing was a slow process because two of the movers were called to another job during my scheduled time and this left only one person for packing. I was told

Very easy to work with...very professional, polite and took care with my items. The $299 Economy move was just perfect for my 2 bedroom apartment into a small house. I could imagine that some would need another hour, but at that point they are expecting it because they know they are moving much more than I was.
