Just prior to WW1, our company founder, J.S. Cameron (Great Grandfather of company president, Brian Bosson) operated South Knoxville Transfer located just south of downtown Knoxville, TN at the end of the present Henley Street bridge over the Tennessee River. Wagon and mule team provided power for whatever needed moving.

They were all very nice and pleasant on the phone. About two months before I was going to move, we discussed it several times and I thought that we had an agreement. However, one day before the moving date, I spoke with the manager and he said that they never had a contract for me and they couldn't move us because they were booked up. So, I had to scramble to find a moving company at the last minute. I'm sure it's a good moving company but their communication and follow-up is horrible.

When I moved up here from Texas they somehow "lost" a third of our stuff. Everything had been professionally packed, cataloged and shipped for us through the military. But once it reached knoxville it went into their storage and a lot never got back to us. How do you lose 600lbs of furniture and household items? And then lie about it for a week claiming that you found it, no wait; wrong stuff let us look again?! It was a nightmare! Never trusting this company again! Movers beware, never let them store your stuff you won't get it all!

I hate moving, but American Holiday Van Lines made this so so easy for us. These guys are tremendously hard workers, and super cordial, and at a very fair rate (especially for all the work they do). Do yourself a favor, hire these guys to move your belongings; you'll be glad you did. They were very respectful with our belongings and I highly recommend them. I will for sure be using American Holiday Van Lines next time we move.

These guys were great! They were fast, professional, and did not break anything! I will definitely use them again. We moved about 20 minutes from our old place, and the new place was up 2 flights of stairs. Yuck. They did the move in 2 trips and it was a little over $800. I would definitely use them again.
