Did you know you can change the color of your hydrangea flowers? Pink flowers are grown in soil with a high pH level (alkaline). Blue flowers grow in soil with a low pH level (acidic). You can add acid or alkaline in the nearby soil to change the colors of your hydrangea flowers. Add organic matter (such a coffee grinds, leaves, mulch, etc.) to get blue flowers.

Fred and his crew at Ava Landscapes are top notch. Called him after the recent tropical storm after my current landscaper was “too busy” to help me out. He responded to my call immediately, clearly communicated when he was going to complete the work, and lived up to what he committed to do in the exact timeframe he outlined. We've been using Ava Landscapes to maintain our yard for the past 2 years. Totally satisfied with the quality of his work, and his enthusiasm for turning my yard around from "unsightly" to pretty darn good looking.
Lawn cutting is done only when needed, and not overdone. Suggested improvements to the yard - his or mine - are discussed, perfected, and agreed. He's fine with spreading the work out over the year to minimize cost impact. And the prices are very reasonable. The cost of lawn care did not increase last year.
