The team at Utah Flooring did a great job refinishing my parquet floor in the den. So, I hired them again to do a slightly more complex repair and refinish on my "100 year" oak floors in the kitchen and hallway. They were very good at communicating with me and tolerating endless delays waiting for new kitchen cabinets. Paul and Tara were very, very efficient at solving some last minute problems that were discovered after removal of the old kitchen cabinets. The installers were friendly, fast ,and excellent in their craft. I would highly recommend.

I had laminate floors in my upstairs and downstairs installed by Utah flooring starting on November 15th. It is now December 31st these two jobs were each to take a week apiece but there was some issues with my stairs and needed some special bull noses manufactured which required an additional week. My problem with Utah flooring is they did not make any attempt to get the bull noses manufactured for 2 weeks until I called them and threatened them with court proceedings. This was after many text messages. Secondly after the initial installation once they left my house getting them back on site was

We bought our tile from floor and decor, I was going to do the install but injured my right foot and am non-weight bearing, so we looked to have professionals take care of it. they referred us via installation made easy, The initial free estimate bid was done, and rather than measuring, he utilized a comment I made about buying enough tile for 22square ft. So the quote reflected 22square ft, rather than the actual square foot measurement of 17.5 square ft. The appt was scheduled for 40 days out which isn’t a problem, since I could arrange and scheduled vacation days to be home for the installer

Same story as all the other one star reviewers. Don't bother with this company unless you are willing to be disappointed over and over by unkept commitments and inconvenienced by delays and rescheduling. Not to mention that you have to be willing to foot the bill when their delays mean you pay to extend your storage pod and extended living arrangements.
Like other reviewers said, their initial consultations are pleasant, timely, and customer friendly. That's how they get your deposit! But when it comes down to them doing the actual work, expect them to do very minimal to keep their commitment

I hired this company to install my backsplash. The first meeting/consultation was great. But then…. They had to reschedule my job multiple times. They ended up hiring out my job to another set of people who do tile. The spacing was not done correctly, they left without even telling me they were done so I could check the work, they left a mess, and scratched my brand new countertops. When I reached out to Utah flooring they did nothing to help. Very disappointing - would not recommend.

This company is fraudulant and I regret not reading reviews before hiring them.
The sales guy was incredibly kind and called every day after to see if we were ready to schedule. It was obnoxious but I can appreciate the hustle. The project manager also called every day after giving my deposit to have my sign a contract I luckily never signed-
We were scheduled two months out and they showed the first day on time but to the wrong address even after letting the PM know when we reviewed things.
After sorting out the address, they sanded one day and told me I needed to see the stain in person, which

An unfortunately bad experience.
The estimator Cameron was professional and pleasant. But the workers they sent
-left a mess including boxes from flooring and vinyl floor scraps all over my back yard (see pictures), and a red bull can.
-They took longer than was estimated to finish the job,
-left nails sticking out of the baseboards,
-and left a gap between the floor and baseboard
-they just glued the floor reducer to the ground which in hindsight I've been told, isn't how your supposed to install it.
-they left a part of the baseboards unfinished (see pictures).
-The company charged me

Excellent work. Couldn't be happier. We had carpeted areas worn down by high traffic and wished for it to be switched out with tile that looks like wood. I love their service of texting/emailing about when their contractors are expected to arrive, and they called about 20 minutes prior to arriving. The tile guy, Jeff, was amazing. He took extra time to line up the tile edge lines with the center of the front door and the center of the hallway for symmetry. The project did take longer than planned, but I expected that.
