Matt Lewis founded Lewis Tree Service in May of 2007. There are currently 3 employees working for the company. Matt, the owner is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all of the work and putting together estimates for potential clients. Although normal working hours are from 7am - 5pm Monday through Friday, appointments for estimates are flexible and can accomodate your schedule.
There are many reasons trees may need to be removed from their location. Trees may need to be removed if they are suffering from the 3 D's: dead, dying and/or diseased. Sometimes trees outgrow their area and need to be removed due to lack of space for them to grow properly. You may have trees that have undergone some sort of damage due to a storm or is causing disruption because of a storm.
Whatever your reasoning may be, we are here to help. Once a tree has been cut down or removed from your yard, you are usually left with the stump. We know that a lot of times this causes a great deal of inconvenience for you.

The first step of every project is to obtain an estimate. Since every project is different and unique, we need to talk with you to put together an accurate quote for the job at hand. If the project is fairly straight-forward and can be explained in great detail over the phone Matt, will give you an estimate then.
Do not plant species of a tree that will grow to be over 12'' in diameter within 15 feet of the house. Plant trees that will shade your yard. The residual effect from the shade will help reduce your cost of utilities in the summer months. Keep trees from rubbing up against your home, the life of your windows, sidings and screens will be longer.
