Jaime Perez founded Organic Cleaning Marin (formerly, A Home Maintenance) after his own exposure to toxic cleaning products inspired him to create a cleaning service free of harmful chemicals. His service uses environmentally friendly, organic, green cleaning products and techniques. Research shows indoor air can be deadlier than outdoor air, so why not take steps to change that?
If you responded, "yes" to any of these questions, our house cleaning services are designed for you. A toxic free home is desirable at any age, but pregnant women, the very young, and the elderly are more susceptible to the effects of harsh chemicals. We use the most advanced equipment and techniques, like high-heat steam and vacuums with HEPA filtration to capture up to 99% of dust, allergens, bacteria, pet dander, pollen and other pollutants.
One of our most requested services for families moving into a new home is deep cleaning. Sanitizing and disinfecting a new home is something our team can do without harsh chemicals. We use high-heat steam, special organic cleaning solutions, and vacuums with filtration systems that capture 99% of dust and pollutants.

Though they missed the time once or twice I still give them five stars because they are completely trustworthy, completely thorough in their cleaning, as well as always being ready to listen. The head of this service is a lovely intelligent person, who is always congenial, even in these hard times for all. The people he hires are also likable and competent. He always sends them wearing masks and gloves. The super deep cleaning he does every year, and at the beginning of the Pandemic, has very possibly kept our household safe from the virus. I would choose no other cleaning team.

Several months ago, for my fall cleaning, I called on Organic Cleaning Marin to do a deep cleaning. Especially the bathroom floor. I'd chosen light grout for the floor tiles and they needed a better cleaning than I could give them with a stiff brush on my hands and knees. Jaime Perez and his team used steam and some old fashioned scrubbing to brighten the grout! They did a deep clean of the entire bathroom. Wish I'd taken before and after pics, but you'll just have to take my word for it. They did a lovely job, in record time!

They use all ORGANIC products, which can be important if you want to protect your household from chemicals due cancer, an autoimmune disease, young kids, an older person with compromised health, pets, allergies, etc. They were already working in a COVID-19 SAFE WAY years before the virus arrived.
They come on time, every time, and work VERY QUICKLY to make sure everything is clean and sparkles. If you work from home, then you might especially appreciate how they bring a whole team that works fast.

Jaime and his whole team do amazing work. They are professional and extremely careful following all safety protocols when cleaning during this pandemic. Our old place was spotless, and we got back our full deposit back (hooray for us for not breaking anything in 3 years too :D). They also did a pre move in clean before we moved into our new home, and we could not be happier about moving into an amazingly clean place! Off to a good start thanks to Organic Cleaning Marin!

Service was fantastic! They arrived a little earlier than the start time and waited for us to arrive at the property. The house was just remodeled and contained lots of dust and debris. A crew of 2 was very professional and took care of all that. Jaime was excellent in communicating and explaining what would be done. He was also very flexible as we added in cleaning the blinds and inside the cabinetry midway through the job. Would highly recommend if you have a move in/out or post construction cleaning. I’ll most likely call them back to clean all the remaining fine dust on the walls.
