Our kitchen looks AMAZING!!! DFW Improved was a great company to work with - from our initial appointment for an estimate all the way to completion. Amy M was very helpful and explained the process in detail. This was our first renovation. She was a great PM and took the time to answer all my texts and kept us in the loop for any scheduling/supply issues. The quality of work and skill level of their trades made all the difference. Terrible customer service. Poor project management; unrealistic project timelines provided (quoted 4 weeks-- took 7 months). Change orders (yes, multiple) presented for payment AFTER project completed; price nor necessity of change order discussed/signed off on prior to "additional" work commencing. Bid omitted critical component of project (i.e. HVAC for bathroom)-- which was later presented as change order, in turn adding to the cost of the entire project. The entire process from the jump was a money grab and I will never make the mistake of hiring them again. We received our original proposal. The proposal was above our budget, so we asked for a different proposal with a much smaller scope. After comparing the two proposals, we elected to stretch for the larger scope. He then informs me that it has been too long since the original proposal and will need to increase the cost by approximately 20%. Mind you, he took 3 weeks to get the second bid to us. First off, the salesman that comes out to your house is good at making unrealistic and dishonest promises. Anything you want, he/they say it's not a problem. You want everything finished within 4-5 months... you got it! Until the contract is signed. They just need to be honest if it's going to take a year to be complete with all appliances. Unbelievable!

Very impressed with the level of communication and responsiveness provided by DFW Improved!
We had DFW Improved do office expansion and build wet bar on our 2nd floor. Blake is the best project manager I've ever seen. He tried his best to meet our expectation and requirement during the whole process. Salesman Gary is very knowledge and willing to help as well. Even I needed some information which is nothing to do with the project, Gary was still willing to spend time to give me some information.
Overall, they've done great work for us!

Shane and DFW Improved did an amazing job with our kitchen remodel. It was a full gut job with some unexpected issues along the way but they handled every one of them in stride and kept us on track. The carpenters to the plumbers to the electricians to the tile guys, were all excellent. I work from home so I interacted with all of them and they were very knowledgeable and professional. The quality of work was superior. Shane was on site at least once a day to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was always very responsive to any questions or concerns. I would and will use DFW Improved again

Shane and his team did an amazing job converting a window into French doors! They were on time, we were always kept up to date on when work would be done. Construction teams were professional and did great work. Definitely recommend them!
Update! We had some leftover brick from our project and needed some patio post replaced. Called DFW Improved, got a super quick quote from Kenneth and he had Shane and his crew out fast! Shane is so easy to work with and only wants the best for your home! They replaced our posts and did some beautiful brick work around them! HIGHLY recommend them!

I used DFW improved to repair some water damage to my kitchen center island. The entire thing had to be removed down to the studs and rebuilt. The water damage was covered by insurance, and the insurance company agreed to their price and covered the entire cost.
The work was completed within the quoted timeframe and the center island looks better than the original one. They were able to match the carpentry detail, stain colors, back-splash, and other materials, so that you can't tell any difference from the rest of the kitchen.
This is the 3rd big project that DFW improved has done for me

DFW Improved (Project Mgr. Miguel Perez) performed a major renovation of our kitchen along with minor renovations of other rooms. The final results are stellar and we couldn't be happier with our remodeled house.
It did take much longer than originally planned (7 vs. 3 months) and, of course we ran into some hiccups along the way. The Project Manager usually stopped by once per day and was available to call after that. We did keep an eye on the activities and contacted the PM when we saw issues.

I scheduled a survey for my condo. They responded quickly and got it scheduled for 3 days later. I was told I'd have the proposal a week later. A month went by and I still didn't have it. I called the main number they said I would have it by the end of the day. Another week went by and I didn't have it. I reached out again and had to wait two more weeks before finally receiving it. Made me realize they are not very reliable if it took so much effort to get a proposal doc.

Juan came out and "sold" his company as the best at what they do, finest quality, most sufficient, the process of designing, scheduling, and steps to make sure we were satisfied with the project. He did explain that they were more expensive than most because they were using their own finest quality materials, had a designer and were far above anything I would see from others bidders on our project. We were impressed.

Strongly recommend DFW Improved; Highly skilled and conscientious teams performed our restoration/remodel as if it was their own home. The engagement team (Case and John) were both personally vested in the outcomes, worked with our insurance company and quickly established trust and demonstrated commitment to delivery. In an age where the service industry is generally lackluster at best, these guys are the definition of how it should be done. We will use them again in the future.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with DFW improved!! I used them in Nov 2018 to completely remodel my kitchen/laundry room. I was so impressed with their quality of work and attention to detail!! My project manager was John Griggs and he was on top of every detail. He was here daily to ensure we stayed on schedule. We finished a little ahead of schedule by Dec 23rd. I will be using DFW improved for any big projects that I have in the future.

I have not used their services for any other trades, however, their master electrician (Mike White formally Black Diamond) is dishonest and unethical.
We did a whole home remodel. Mike quoted a specific scope of work, and later refused to acknowledge that he guaranteed that they would run new circuits where needed in the home. I had to dig out the original quote to show him where it was in print.
They did lazy and careless work and Mike was rarely present on the project and never did a thorough review of his journeymens' work. Switch boxes all at different heights

I just had our room expansion added and dfw improved just finished a couple weeks ago. The process was very professional and easy. Our contact was very communicative and would let us know anytime when someone was arriving. We did run into a snag with our window ordering, but honestly, it wasn't there fault at all. Just life. I was referred to DFW Improved by a very trusted source. They had a very favorable experience. Ours was opposite. One of the things I felt DFW Improved offered that was perfect for us, and our schedules was a skilled project manager that would help manage our project and be our eyes and ears as craftsmen came & went from our home. I was lead to believe he would be in our home daily to provide direction, follow up on craftsmen to make sure the work was completed to a professionally acceptable level and that the craftsmen cleaned up after themselves. I used DFW Improved twice! Work was shoddy. I'm sorry to say that I am spending more money now to repair what was supposedly repaired by DFW Improved. I think because I wasn't there to see the final work, they did the bare minimum. I still have leaky pipes, exterior paint is not exact match, carpet install loose and separating, etc... AND these were "small" repairs

Once we questioned their numbers they became absent. Said they were going to get back to us with some new numbers and other cost cutting options. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN.
Was looking forward to working with them but now we see their true colors. Not even if they begged. Be very wary. Proceed with caution.
