Based on my recent experience, I do not recommend Frye Fence. When we requested a quote last fall, they were not very responsive. Then they showed up at our house with the wrong fence. Those two issues were frustrating, but it got worse when they installed our fence in November 2020.
Frye Fence damaged our internet connection on the day the fence was installed. We lost internet service for several days. AT&T had to replace the underground wires.

I signed their proposal but they never followed through on doing install, so now I've waited months with nothing to show for it. They made up estimates for their lead time, I guess to tell me what I wanted to hear - when on-site they said a few days (!), later they said 2-3 weeks on the phone, then later they stopped responding to communication completely. Not a good way to run a business. The other fence companies are more professional in their communication, estimate, drawing, etc.

Basically went through the quote process and measurements, then never heard from anyone again after 5 times by me reaching out for a quote and information (when told it would be the following week). They measured on July 10 2020 and didn't hear from anyone the whole month. Kept reaching out leaving messages, but there has been complete lack of professionalism and help. As a business owner, it's honestly shocking this place is even a business. Between the survey and office, there was absolutely ZERO communication. Do not recommend; save the headache and time and go somewhere else.

I just Frye Fence Company come to our home in North Raleigh to replace and repair a 20 year old backyard fence. They did not go to Lowes and buy already made panels, they built the fence "stick by stick". Awesome job!! I received a quote from Frye Fence Company on 01Apr2020 to complete a very small privacy fence project in a townhome community. Once I received HOA approval I sent the signed contract to Mr. Frye on 31May2020 to get on their schedule. I finally heard from him and was told the fence would be installed on 12Jun2020 at 9am. They arrived a couple of hours late with fencing that didn’t match. Mr. Frye said this was due to the supplier being slow. They dropped off concrete bags and left. At 3:30pm I spoke with Mr. Frye again to inquire as to where they were. He said they couldn’t find the fence and

Kenneth Edwards from Frye fence came out to give me an estimate on a fence. He couldn't find the property, asked me for directions, was 45 minutes late, did a very poor job sketching up the fence, and a wrote terrible estimate. I asked for references and samples of other similar fences. I didn't get it. I asked for a sketch of their solution with the proposal, didn't get it. They spelled my name wrong on the estimate, were the highest bidder by over $1,000 out of 3 other bidders. They had no suggestions how to do the job right. They were the picture of incompetence. I don't recommend this company

Contacted Frye for an estimate. They sent out a rep and he knew nothing. He looked at the property for 5 minutes and then told me I would get a quote in 2 days sent via email. It has been two weeks and no quote. Called the office and the guy told me he is very busy and hasn’t been able to do it. Stay away from this company!!

As a general contractor I do not recommend Frye Fencing at all. Having public saftey as a number one concern Frye cannot be trusted. Fencing they used are poorly welded at their own ability. When winds have picked up (under 20mph), they just buckle and snap at the welds. Please take your business elsewhere.
