Bob's Master Safe and Lock Service has been providing locksmith services to the greater Indianapolis, Indiana area for auto and business since 1958 with a fleet of 8 fully stocked and marked service vehicles. Services
We do NOT cut or program customer supplied blanks, chip keys, remotes, or key fobs that are not purchased from us. This includes blanks or remotes purchased online. We do not perform any work on or make keys/remotes for the following vehicles to the general public: BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, Saab, or Volvo.
Both locations have text to PC technology that allows us to get a text from your cell phone on our computers. This way you can send pictures of your lock or key to us if needed. Our flagship southside Indianapolis store stocks a wide variety of safes and has a vehicle service bay. Please note: We do NOT cut or program customer supplied blanks, chip keys, remotes, or key fobs that are not purchased from us.
Our American Security safes are ideal for locking up your valuables. We have a wide range of models to choose from, including hybrid burglary and fire models, as well as 2 hour fire rated and in the floor safes. Electronic locks are available on some models, and all of our on the floor safes can be anchored to the floor.

Man, I really wanted to give Bob's Locks good reviews as I always try to supporr local business first but the two times I really needed a local expert to help with my key issues they weren't able to pull through either time.
I owned a 2003 Jaguar they weren't able to make a key for a couple years back. Yes, it was a complicated order so I figured I try to give them another shot today when I needed a safety deposit key made. The guy wasnt really sure if his machine was up and running or not because I assume it's a relatively low volume business for them but tried anyway. He attempted a key cut

Don't bother calling them if you are locked out of your own vehicle. I called them 9/27/01 and was told they would not enter a customer's vehicle. I told the dispatcher that they wouldn't have to enter the vehicle just open the door. They then told that meant they don't do vehicles. They said "they could copy me a key for my vehicle though". One star for that last comment though.

After a long weekend of every locksmith in the city turning me down Bob's was a breath of fresh air. Monday morning I called and they sent Tim out the same day. Tim reassured that he'd get me in the trunk of my car where my keys were unfortunately locked in. And he absolutely did! I am so grateful for this company. I can't recommend them enough!!

I'll never use or recommend any company who has vehicles speeding on residential neighborhood streets. It's a ZERO tolerance issue imo, because it only takes one accident to cause a tragedy.
Perfect example of the golden rule. Treat others the way you yourself want to be treated. Would you want someone speeding on the street your children or grandchildren play on?
I served as a veteran to serve our way of life in America. We're a nation of laws, let's all follow them. Otherwise why are we sacrificing anything for our system if the laws don't matter?

Before I called Bobs Locks, I had called another company but it was sketchy - kept driving the price up from $230 to $450 and after trying for an hour and a half to no avail. So Monday morning I called Bobs Locks and I knew as soon as the guy answered the phone that this was the place to call. He got my key ordered, told me it was one flat price and wasn’t lying!! Met IN A PARKING GARAGE!! To program my new keyfob. He got it done in literally 5 minutes. 12 out of 10 would recommend. Tim was the best!!! And definitely knew what he was doing.
